Escape the Heat at EPCOT’s Free Florida Blue Lounge During Food & Wine Festival.
With Florida’s classic hazy, humid summer stretching into the fall, theme park goers are always looking for a way to beat the heat. Thankfully, EPCOT has a hidden oasis ready for anyone attending the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
Returning for another year, the free Florida Blue Lounge is located in the Morocco pavilion, inside the former Restaurant Marrakesh. It’s the perfect spot to escape the crowds, relax in the cool air conditioning, and enjoy complimentary refreshments.
The lounge is open daily from 12 PM to 6 PM throughout the festival, which runs from August 28 to November 22.
What’s Inside?
The Florida Blue Lounge offers more than just a place to sit down. Guests can enjoy free cold brew coffee, water, and mint tea. There’s also a creative activity for all ages: a sand art mosaic tile. It takes about 15 minutes for the tile to cure, and then you can take your personalized souvenir home.
Guests can get a free pass to the lounge by registering online at the Florida Blue website. The lounge is also offering a limited number of reserved seats for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, available on a first-come, first-served basis. The tickets are limited to the first 75 guests! So, for popular acts playing the concert, getting there early is recommended.
The Eat to the Beat Concert Series, presented by Florida Blue, features nightly live musical performances at the America Gardens Theatre. The concerts are a popular part of the festival, and the lounge provides a great way to guarantee a seat for a favorite artist.
This partnership between Florida Blue and Walt Disney World Resort is part of a multi-year sponsorship aimed at providing guests with unique and engaging experiences during the festival. FloridaBlue.com/Magic.
