Rapunzel Gets New Paintings on the Bathroom – While Other Parks Get Themed Area and Rides (Who Wins?, Not Disney World). I stand by this! We have a bathroom and stroller parking area for one of the greatest Disney Princesses, while other parks get full-themed areas and an attraction.
The Tangled-themed bathrooms have been updated with more paintings that now spread down the walls and onto the ground in the Women’s Bathroom. (Nothing weird about trying to take some images and video of a women’s bathroom!) The purple mural now features more suns and The Sundrop Flower. This is going to make a great new Disney Wall photo spot.
The Tangled-themed restrooms can be found in Magic Kingdom Park, between “it’s a small world” and Haunted Mansion. Look for the Rapunzel Tower. When you see the lanterns, you’ll know you are in the right place! Be sure to be on the lookout for Pascal while you are in the area. (There are actually several Pascals hiding!) Also in this location is the Rapunzel Lantern Disney PhotoPass photo opportunity, available after dark.
Tangled is one of Disney’s most popular films and for the first time in any Disney Park guests will be able to partake in the story of Rapunzel through festivities, locales, and encounters.
Meanwhile, over in Tokyo Disneyland – A tower stands in Rapunzel’s Forest where the long-haired princess, Rapunzel, has lived since she was a child. Here you can experience Rapunzel’s “best day ever” on Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival attraction, where Rapunzel falls in love with Flynn Rider on a romantic boat ride to the annual Lantern Festival. When a hungry stomach comes calling after this love-filled adventure, enjoy a meal at The Snuggly Duckling restaurant, reminiscent of the establishment by the same name from the film, in a variety of atmospheric dining areas.
When the kingdom’s most wanted-and most charming-bandit, Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi), hides out in a mysterious tower, he’s taken hostage by Rapunzel (Mandy Moore), a beautiful and feisty tower-bound teen with 70 feet of magical, golden hair. Flynn’s curious captor, who’s looking for her ticket out of the tower where she’s been locked away for years, strikes a deal with the handsome thief, and the unlikely duo sets off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse (Maximus), an over-protective chameleon (Pascal), and a gruff gang of pub thugs.
