Fantasy Land News launched in 2023 with one goal: to be the most useful Disney and entertainment news site on the internet for fans who actually care about the details. We are based in Central Florida, right outside the Walt Disney World Resort, and we cover everything from park announcements and merchandise drops to Pixar film news, theater collectibles, and streaming updates.
We publish new articles every day. We visit the parks regularly. We photograph what we see. And when something changes, we write about it fast and get it right.
What We Cover
Walt Disney World and Disneyland — Walt Disney World is practically our backyard, and our coverage reflects that. We post directly from the parks, resorts, and restaurants on a regular basis. Ride announcements, food and merchandise drops, seasonal events, new attractions, and everything in between. We also cover Disneyland, Universal Orlando, and other Central Florida theme parks.
Movie Theater Collectibles — Fantasy Land News is one of the leading sources for movie theater popcorn bucket and collectible coverage. We track every chain, every film, and every exclusive across AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Harkins, Epic Theatres, Showcase Cinemas, Marcus Theatres, and Alamo Drafthouse. What Makes Fantasy Land News Different
We are independent. Fantasy Land News is owned and operated by Greg and Holly Gately. We do not represent Disney, Universal, or any studio. We are not PR-fed content. When we report something, it is because we saw it, photographed it, or found it from a credible source and verified it ourselves.
We are on the ground in Central Florida. When Cinderella Castle gets a repaint and the projection show changes, we notice because we were there. When a new food item shows up at EPCOT, we try it and photograph it. That firsthand experience is built into every piece of parks coverage on this site.

Who We Are
Greg Gately — Co-owner, writer, editor, photographer, and podcaster. Greg has published more than 4,000 articles on Fantasy Land News and has been visiting Walt Disney World for years as a Central Florida resident. His firsthand park photography and on-the-ground reporting form the backbone of FLN’s parks coverage. Before building Fantasy Land News full-time, Greg spent years working as an audio engineer and tour manager for Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals, Collin Raye, and Dispatch. That career taught him to work fast, pay attention to details, and tell a story well. He brings all of it to Fantasy Land News, from his weekly Wednesday night live show to his daily coverage of everything happening at the parks. greg@fantasylandnews.com
Holly Gately — Co-owner, writer, and business manager. Holly keeps Fantasy Land News running. She handles operations, partnerships, and contributes to editorial coverage across the site.
