Disney’s “Mufasa” Pride Rock Popcorn Bucket Coming to Regal along with Collectibles. Early teasers and trailers showed how beautiful the scenery in Mufasa is going to be, they also gave us a brief plot line, it wasn’t until this final Mufasa trailer that we finally got a comprehensive narrative. The final “Mufasa” trailer is playing before Walt Disney Animation’s Moana 2 now in theaters.

All our favorite characters are here including Timon & Pumba, Rafiki, Sirabi, Nala, Simba, along with Taka a lion who later becomes known as Scar and Mufasa. Tickets are on sale now everywhere tickets are sold for Disney’s all-new feature film “Mufasa: The Lion King.” Exploring the unlikely rise of the beloved king of the Pride Lands, “Mufasa: The Lion King” opens only in theaters on Dec. 20, 2024.

Regal Cinemas is the first movie chain to announce the highly anticipated Popcorn Bucket and Collectables, and they came out with a roar. “Hakuna Ma-collect-these! 🦁✨ Pounce on the opportunity to grab our Pride Rock popcorn container, dome lid collector cup, blanket with pillow pouch, and #Mufasa and Taka popcorn tins.”

There are popcorn tins with Taka aka Scar, and one with Mufasa, each bucket comes with a handle to carry. Dome Lid collectors cups that show Mufasa as a cub in the dessert. Also a blanket with pillow pouch. Plus the Price Rock Popcorn Bucket itself which looks amazing. On top of Pride Rock is Mufasa standing tall on a replica of the famous scene. A nameplate with “Disney Mufasa The Lion King” is shown on the front, and the lid looks to be the top of Pride Rock flips open to fill it up. There are no prices listed yet or a release date.

Exploring the unlikely rise of the beloved king of the Pride Lands, “Mufasa: The Lion King” enlists Rafiki to relay the legend of Mufasa to young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa lending their signature schtick. Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka—the heir to a royal bloodline. The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny—their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe.

The film features an all-star roster of talent, including Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison Jr., John Kani, Tiffany Boone, Kagiso Lediga, Preston Nyman, Mads Mikkelsen, Thandiwe Newton, Lennie James, Anika Noni Rose, Keith David, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, Donald Glover, Blue Ivy Carter, Braelyn Rankins, Theo Somolu, Folake Olowofoyeku, Joanna Jones, Thuso Mbedu, Sheila Atim, Abdul Salis, Dominique Jennings and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter. Blending live-action filmmaking techniques with photoreal computer-generated imagery, the all-new feature film is directed by Barry Jenkins, produced by Adele Romanski & Mark Ceryak, and executive-produced by Peter Tobyansen. Featuring songs by award-winning songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda, “Mufasa: The Lion King” opens only in theaters on Dec. 20, 2024.
