Tyler Hynes and Kim Matula star in Here’s Looking at You, Kit, an all-new original movie coming to Hallmark Channel in 2027 and streaming the next day on Hallmark+. Hallmark gave fans the first official look at the romance and adventure movie in a new video of Hynes in the desert with a camel, teasing a winter escape for 2027.
In the video, Hynes leans against a resting camel on top of the sand dunes. “Your favorite network, Hallmark Channel, wanted me to tell you what we have in store for you in 2027,” he says. “But instead of telling you, I think I’m just gonna show you.” Then he turns it into a game. “Ten bucks to whoever can guess where we are,” he says, before calling out, “Hey Kimbo, how you doing back there?” to his co-star, Kim Matula, trailing far behind him across the dunes.
Hallmark has not shared a premiere date, a plot, or where the movie was filmed. The title is a play on Humphrey Bogart’s famous line from Casablanca, “Here’s looking at you, kid,” and Hallmark’s post tells fans to pack their bags, so this one is headed somewhere far from the usual snowy small town. Which would mean the scenery is supposed to be Morocco.
Hynes is one of Hallmark’s biggest stars, and fans will see a lot of him this season. His Countdown to Christmas movie The Nights Before Christmas, with Laci J Mailey, premieres Saturday, November 14, and you can follow every premiere on our Countdown to Christmas hub. Matula is a Bold and the Beautiful alum who made her Hallmark debut in the 2022 Countdown to Christmas movie Ghosts of Christmas Always; she also starred in The Way to You earlier this year.
