2026 Topps Vault Disney trading cards release October 21, 2026, bringing Topps’ new high-end Vault brand to Disney with just two cards per hobby box, and every one of them a hit. The set includes autographs from Tom Hanks, Anne Hathaway, Will Smith, Idina Menzel and Johnny Depp, relic cards made with real Disney film props, and Disney Diamonds cards set with genuine diamonds.
We have covered Topps Disney cards and Disney Lorcana before, but this is a very different product. Topps Vault is Topps’ new premium line. It launched in September with Topps Vault Marvel, and Disney is the second set. There are no base cards at all. Every card is an autograph, a relic, a sketch card or a diamond card.
What is in a box: Each hobby box has two packs with one card each. You get one autograph or autograph relic and one relic or sketch card. Every box also comes with a box topper, either a Vault Original with art by Julie Vu or an oversized one-of-one sketch card.

The big autographs: Disney Triples put three stars on one card. A one-of-one Toy Story card pairs Tom Hanks as Woody, Joan Cusack as Jessie and Kelsey Grammer as Stinky Pete. Other trios bring together Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley from Pirates of the Caribbean, and Halle Bailey, Daveed Diggs and Melissa McCarthy from The Little Mermaid. Immortal Autographs include Will Smith as Genie, Kristen Bell, Cate Blanchett, Willem Dafoe and Ian McKellen. Idina Menzel signs as Elsa in gold ink, and Billy Crystal signs a Monsters, Inc. dual card as Mike Wazowski.

Retro Blockbusters: These autograph booklets are styled like the colorful Disney VHS covers of the 1990s. Signers include Jodi Benson, Paige O’Hara, Matthew Broderick and Whoopi Goldberg as Shenzi from The Lion King.
Autographs with props: Vault Autograph Relics pair a signature with a piece of a real prop or set used in a Disney production. Jude Law signs as Captain Hook next to a piece of a crocodile skull prop, numbered to 50, and Johnny Depp signs as the Mad Hatter. Anne Hathaway, Tessa Thompson and Owen Wilson also have cards. Dual versions pair Anne Hathaway with Johnny Depp, and Tessa Thompson with Justin Theroux on a one-of-one Lady and the Tramp card. Topps says Chris Pratt, Willem Dafoe, Ian McKellen, Geoffrey Rush, Tessa Thompson and Cate Blanchett are signing Disney autographs for the first time.

The relics: Vault Relics use production-used props from Alice in Wonderland, Jungle Cruise, Snow White and Haunted Mansion, including material from the teapot in Alice in Wonderland and pieces of Trader Sam’s throne from Jungle Cruise. The Disney Diamonds set has 100 cards with real diamonds set in, featuring characters like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.
The art: Magic Montage cards pair original art by Tim Rogerson with a signature from the actor or voice behind each character, including Josh Gad as Olaf and Bret Iwan, a longtime voice of Mickey Mouse. The Vault Originals box toppers feature new art by Julie Vu, like Stitch building a sandcastle on the beach. Fifty-five artists drew one-of-one Premiere Sketch Cards.
How rare they are: Most cards are numbered to 50 or fewer. Parallels are numbered to 10 and 5, with one-of-one Gold and SuperFractor versions at the top.
What it costs: Topps has not posted a box price we could confirm. Topps Vault Marvel sold for $699.99 a box at launch in September. One major card shop is taking Vault Disney presales at $20,999.95 for a five-box case, which works out to about $4,200 a box. You can read the full Topps Vault Disney guide from Topps.
Our take: This is not Lorcana, and it is not a pack you grab at Target. Two cards for hundreds or even thousands of dollars is for serious collectors and box breakers only. For everyone else, the fun is watching the breaks online and seeing who pulls a piece of Trader Sam’s throne. As parks fans, we love that Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion props made it into the set.
