Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando has turned pink for October. The hotel is lighting its exterior pink and donating part of the proceeds from select rooms, cocktails, Sunday brunch and a sundae to breast cancer charities through the end of the month. The hotel says the money will benefit organizations including the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation and the American Cancer Society. It is part of Pinktober, Hard Rock’s campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
There are four ways for guests to take part. Select guest rooms are made up with pink sheets, and 5% of the revenue from those rooms is donated. Signature pink cocktails are on the menu at Velvet Bar, The Kitchen and beachclub, with $1 from each one going to charity. Emack & Bolio’s has an exclusive sundae, with $1 from each purchase donated. At The Kitchen, $5 from every Acoustic Brunch sold is donated, and the brunch is held every Sunday.
Photos from the hotel show the pink rooms with a pink guitar that reads Stronger Together, along with the Pinktober and Hard Rock Heals Foundation names. The hotel’s chefs are wearing Pinktober chef coats all month.
Team members will also walk in Orlando’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. This year’s walk is Saturday, October 31 at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando, and it is free to join.
The pink lighting and the offers run through the end of October 2026. Details on the Sunday event are on The Kitchen’s Acoustic Brunch page.
