EPCOT’s Christmas 2026 plans are out, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is getting a new holiday track list. From November 25, 2026 through January 6, 2027, the coaster will play three holiday songs. The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays presented by AdventHealth runs November 27 through December 30, 2026.
The three songs are “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy Williams, “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and “Christmas Wrapping” by The Waitresses. Disney says they will be shuffled, so you will not know which one you are getting until the launch. It is the same guessing game the ride plays the rest of the year with its six regular songs.
This is a change from the ride’s first holiday season in 2022, when it played a single mash-up of seasonal songs. Three separate tracks give repeat riders something to chase. Disney has not said whether the six regular songs stay in the rotation during the holiday dates. The ride has already been in the news this month, after Disney trimmed a pause out of the pre-show.
The Festival of the Holidays is included with park admission. We have the full rundown in our EPCOT Festival of the Holidays 2026 guide, and the short version is that the favorites are back. That means the Candlelight Processional with this year’s celebrity narrators, Holiday Kitchens around World Showcase, the Holiday Cookie Stroll, Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition scavenger hunt, storytellers at the World Showcase pavilions, JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season, and the Glimmering Greenhouses overlay at Living with the Land. The food is still to come. Disney says the Disney Eats Foodie Guide will have the full Holiday Kitchen menus.
One thing to note for trip planning is that the dates do not line up. Cosmic Rewind’s holiday songs start two days before the festival and run a week past it. A visit in the first week of January still gets the holiday coaster, but the festival will be over.
The Cosmic Rewind holiday songs begin November 25, and the festival opens November 27. Our EPCOT Festivals guide covers all four festivals.
