Hollywood Studios Christmas 2026: Muppets Coaster Holiday Overlay and New Lilypad Songs

Disney’s Hollywood Studios has announced its Christmas 2026 lineup, and two rides are getting holiday versions for the first time. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets: Obligatory Holiday Overlay and a new holiday playlist at Alien Swirling Saucers: Lilypad’s Jams both run November 4, 2026 through January 6, 2027.

Both attractions are new this year. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opened May 26, and Lilypad’s Jams took over Alien Swirling Saucers on September 25, so this is the first holiday season for each.

The Electric Mayhem are turning their concert into a holiday show, and the name tells you the Muppets are in on the joke. Disney says festive music will fill the courtyard around the guitar marquee. Inside, guests will find Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd, Janice, Zoot and Lips rehearsing their holiday spectacular while other Muppets try to help, with the usual complications.

The ride itself gets a new four-song set list. It includes Holiday Road with Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear, Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) with Jennifer Hudson, Silver Bells with Cyndi Lauper, and Little Saint Nick from the band alone.

New Holiday Songs at Alien Swirling Saucers

Over in Toy Story Land, DJ Lilypad is debuting a holiday playlist at Alien Swirling Saucers: Lilypad’s Jams. Lilypad is the frog-shaped smart tablet from Toy Story 5 who took over the ride’s music last month. Her four holiday tracks are Deck the Halls, Toyland, Swirling, Swirling, Saucers, and Joy to the Swirl.

The rest of the land dresses up too. Toy Story Land gets oversized seasonal decorations, and Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear will meet guests in their holiday outfits.

What Else Is Returning for the Holidays

Sunset Seasons Greetings is back with nightly projections on the Hollywood Tower Hotel. The building becomes a Muppets gingerbread masterpiece, a Toy Story toy hotel, a snowy corner of Arendelle, and a Dickensian village from Mickey’s Christmas Carol.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration adds seasonal songs and a holiday finale with Olaf. Minnie’s Holiday Dine returns to Hollywood & Vine with Minnie Mouse and friends in holiday outfits. The menu includes oven-roasted herbed chicken, carved beef tenderloin, seared salmon, spice-rubbed pork loin, and a plant-based roasted mushroom-farro risotto, with seasonal bread pudding and Mississippi mud pie for dessert. Disney recommends advance reservations.

Walt Disney Presents, which is also showing Carousel of Progress costumes and models right now, adds a holiday display with props and artifacts from Disney holiday films. Its theater will play holiday shorts, including On Ice, Pluto’s Christmas Tree, and The Art of Skiing with Goofy. On select nights, the park also hosts Disney Jollywood Nights, a separately ticketed party. We have the Jollywood Nights dates and ticket details here.

What This Means for Your Trip

If you are visiting between November 4 and January 6, plan on the holiday version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Disney describes a brand-new set list for the overlay, so anyone who wants to hear the regular songs should ride before November 4 or after January 6. For everyone else, this is two new reasons to visit a park that already had one of the stronger holiday lineups at Walt Disney World.

The holiday overlays begin November 4, 2026.
