The full cast of Dancing with the Stars Season 35 was revealed today on Good Morning America, and the ballroom returns for a two-night premiere event, Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16, both at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, streaming the next day on Hulu. This follows our coverage of last season’s star-studded 20th anniversary Season 34 cast announcement and our recap of Wicked Night from that same season. Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough are back hosting again, with Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli returning to the judges’ table.

A few storylines stand out once the full pairings are laid out. Sharna Burgess is back in the ballroom after a multi-year hiatus, paired with Tyler Cameron. Adele Zaikman joins the professional lineup for the first time after winning the inaugural season of Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro, a spinoff competition that wrapped its finale on August 31, and she’s been paired with Conner Leavitt, whose wife Whitney competed on Season 34. Sarah Jane Nader and Hailey Bills mark the show’s second all-female pairing, following JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson’s history-making partnership back in Season 30. Ciara Miller and Maura Higgins were the first two celebrities confirmed back in April, with Jackson Olson, the Savannah Bananas player, and Guillermo Rodriguez, Jimmy Kimmel’s longtime sidekick, following soon after.
This season also adds new programming around the main show. A first-ever DWTS After Party will air immediately following Wednesday’s premiere episode at 10 p.m. on ABC and Disney+, hosted by Season 34 champion Robert Irwin, checking in with eliminated contestants and breaking down the night’s best moments with alumni. Season 34 contestant Andy Richter is also taking over hosting duties on the official Dancing with the Stars podcast.
What stands out about this cast is how far it stretches across different corners of pop culture in one season. Julia Stiles brings genuine film pedigree, Taylor Hanson and Tatyana Ali both carry real nostalgia weight from the ’90s, Giada De Laurentiis pulls in the Food Network crowd, and figure skater Amber Glenn and Paralympian Ezra Frech add real athletic credibility to a ballroom that usually leans more toward reality TV and pop music. That’s a wider net than most recent seasons have cast.
