Tickets are on sale now for Avengers: Endgame Encore, the extended theatrical rerelease hitting theaters September 25, and it will be the first film to screen in Disney’s new premium format, Infinity Vision. The concession collectibles lineup has arrived too, led by a light-up Iron Man helmet bucket, a Nano-Gauntlet popcorn container, and an Arc Reactor tin.
Avengers: Endgame Encore joins a growing run of popcorn bucket announcements tied to nostalgia rereleases this year, following a similar collectibles rollout for The Transformers: The Movie’s 40th anniversary return earlier this month, and yesterday Pixar announced Cars 20th Anniversary popcorn buckets.
Three collectibles are available at participating theater chains, and they’re aimed at collectors willing to spend for a display piece rather than casual moviegoers grabbing popcorn on the way to their seat:
- Iron Man Premium Head Helmet Popcorn Bucket: A full-size Iron Man helmet with LED lights built into the eyes that project “I Love You 3000” onto nearby surfaces, a direct callback to Endgame’s final Tony Stark and Morgan Stark scene. Estimated price: $39.99 to $49.99.
- Nano-Gauntlet Popcorn Container: A red Tony Stark gauntlet modeled after the snap seen in Endgame’s climax, standing 16 inches tall. Estimated to be priced at $39.99 to $49.99.
- Arc Reactor Tin: A tin styled after Tony Stark’s chest-mounted Arc Reactor, rounding out the set.
Swan Drive-In just announced they will be selling Avengers: Endgame Encore buckets starting tonight at 10:00 PM EST. If you have ordered from Swan prior, be on the lookout for early access codes to be emailed out.
Tickets are available now through Fandango, along with participating theater chains directly. Speaking of Fandango, Fandango is offering its own 1 in 14 million opportunity with an exclusive popcorn bucket bundle below in celebration of tickets going on sale! Fans can now get the Endgame Encore Bundle and receive one ticket to Avengers Endgame: Encore and a collectable popcorn bucket!
The rerelease brings back the 2019 blockbuster with a custom new introduction, extra footage, and a special end tag, pushing the runtime to roughly 3 hours and 5 minutes. That new material is exclusive to IMAX and Infinity Vision screens rather than standard formats, and Infinity Vision marks Disney’s first outing with the new premium large format technology, making Endgame Encore its launch title. The timing isn’t a coincidence. The rerelease lands about three months before Avengers: Doomsday opens on December 18, bringing Robert Downey Jr. back to the MCU as Doctor Doom under the Russo brothers.
Endgame’s original 2019 run pulled in nearly $2.8 billion worldwide, and Marvel is clearly betting that nostalgia for the “assemble” moment still sells tickets. It’s a smart play. Endgame’s ending is one of the few moments in the MCU that actually earned its emotional weight, and giving fans a reason to see it again on a real screen, with new footage attached, is a better hook than most rerelease gimmicks we’ve covered this year.
