Universal CityWalk Is Hosting a FIFA World Cup Watch Party Through July 19

Universal CityWalk kicked off its FIFA World Cup Watch Party on June 11, running through July 19, 2026, with six limited-time food items, a Coca-Cola Freestyle souvenir cup, live entertainment on select match days, and two branded photo ops presented by Telemundo.
The event is free to enter CityWalk, and all specialty experiences are available to anyone visiting the entertainment complex without a park ticket. Telemundo, which holds the Spanish-language broadcast rights for the 2026 World Cup alongside Peacock, is the presenting partner. Every match is viewable on exterior screens outside NBC Sports Grill and Brew and the Universal Legacy Store throughout the tournament.

What’s Happening at the Watch Party

The biggest draw for most guests will be the food. Six CityWalk venues have launched limited-time World Cup items, and the lineup is genuinely varied. NBC Sports Grill and Brew is serving the Red, White and Q, a shareable platter built around smoked brisket, Cajun turkey, serrano-cheddar sausage, pimento mac and cheese, fire-kissed Brussels sprouts, and orange blossom honey corn bread. It is the most ambitious item on the event menu and the one most worth building a meal around.

Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food has the Orale, a corn tortilla filled with machaca beef and jalapeno chimichurri and topped with poblano-queso-ranchero sauce. Hot Dog Hall of Fame added the Poutine Street Dog, a crispy all-beef hot dog dressed in potato sticks, cheese curds, beef gravy, and chives. Red Oven Pizza Bakery is offering a classic cannoli with ricotta, chocolate, maraschino cherries, and powdered sugar. Voodoo Doughnut has the GOOOAALLLL!, a raised shell doughnut with spicy mocha velvet topping and sweet vanilla icing. Bend the Bao is handling beverages with the Sakura Peach Cup, a citrus tea with cherry blossom boba, sweet cream foam, and peach blossom syrup.

Outside the restaurants, Coca-Cola has a branded beverage truck in CityWalk selling five exclusive flavors: Golden Goal Punch, Hibiscus Strike, Midnight Match, All Eyes on Blue, and Final Whistle Fizz. A FIFA-themed Freestyle souvenir cup is available for purchase, and the truck includes augmented reality filters tied to the World Cup branding. The Doritos Loaded Pop-up kiosk is running an exclusive nachos menu with four options: Elote, Cheeseburger, Flamin’ Hot Buffalo, and Texas BBQ Nachos.

Two World Cup photo ops are set up at the CityWalk entrance with Telemundo branding. The Visa Winner Tunnel is a separate walkthrough installation built around FIFA’s visual identity, with a Visa card kiosk nearby offering exclusive FIFA merchandise while supplies last. On select match days, CityWalk is activating soccer freestyle jugglers, stilt walkers, and live DJs outside NBC Sports and the Legacy Store.

A Note on Hot Dog Hall of Fame

Worth flagging for longtime CityWalk regulars: Hot Dog Hall of Fame is permanently closing at the end of July 2026. The Poutine Street Dog is its last limited-time event item before the venue shuts down to make way for Fat One’s Hot Dogs and Italian Ice, the restaurant founded by NSYNC member Joey Fatone. If the Poutine Street Dog is on your list, the window for getting it runs through the end of the World Cup.

The watch party runs through July 19, 2026. All specialty food and beverages are available at participating CityWalk venues while supplies last. For the latest Universal Orlando Resort coverage, visit our Universal Orlando hub at Fantasy Land News.
