Krispy Kreme has officially teamed up with Mattel and Amazon MGM Studios to launch the Masters of the Universe Collection, three limited-time doughnuts available at participating U.S. shops starting Tuesday, May 26, just ahead of the film’s June 5 theatrical opening.

Each doughnut is priced at $2.89 individually, or you can grab the 3-count specialty box for $8.69 and the full Masters of the Universe Specialty Dozen for $21.99.

The lineup is exactly as wild as it sounds. The He-Man Caramel Crunch Doughnut starts with an Original Glazed base, adds red caramel icing swirled with cheesecake-flavored buttercreme, piles on graham-flavored crumble, and finishes with a He-Man character piece on top. It is dessert built like a man who lifts a sword over his head and summons lightning. The energy is correct.

Skeletor gets his own: the Skeletor Double Chocolate Doughnut is an unglazed shell filled with chocolate custard, dipped in chocolate icing and chocolate cookie crumble, and crowned with a Skeletor piece. Dark, layered, a little chaotic. Very on brand for a villain who lives in a skull castle.

The third entry is the Cringer Claw Cookie Dough Doughnut, an Original Glazed dipped and drizzled with cookie dough icing. Cringer is the cowardly green tiger who transforms into Battle Cat, and honestly a soft, sweet, slightly nervous doughnut is the most accurate character representation of the three.

All three are available individually or as a specialty dozen in a custom Masters of the Universe box featuring heroes and villains of Eternia. You can order in-shop, through the Krispy Kreme app, or for delivery at krispykreme.com/promos/masters-of-the-universe. Use the shop locator to find a participating location near you.

If you are building out a full Masters of the Universe experience before June 5, we have covered the theatrical collectibles in depth. Regal has a light-up Skeletor LED Throne and a Castle Grayskull container. Cinemark’s He-Man and Skeletor metal tins are available in theaters and online now. And Mattel dropped a 68-inch life-size Havoc Staff that lights up, makes noise, and produces smoke effects for $189.99.

Our Take: The Skeletor doughnut is the correct order. Chocolate custard filled and double chocolate iced is a genuinely good doughnut underneath the IP, and if Krispy Kreme is going to do a movie collab, building the villain as the premium calorie option is the right call. The Cringer pick is the wildcard that will surprise you. At $2.89 each, getting all three costs less than most theme park snacks, and the dozen at $21.99 makes this an easy group watch situation. Do not sleep on the tiger.
