One of the most well-appointed resorts near Walt Disney World just became an official part of how families can book a Disney vacation.

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress has officially been designated a Walt Disney World Gateway Hotel, the resort announced today. The designation means guests can now book the property through the Walt Disney World website or call center as part of a complete Disney vacation package, including theme park admission. It is the kind of streamlined planning option that makes a real difference for families trying to coordinate lodging and park tickets in one place.
The practical perks are worth noting. Gateway Hotel status includes complimentary resort shuttle transportation to the Walt Disney World Transportation and Ticket Center and EPCOT, with connecting service to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney Springs shuttle service is also included, which matters given the resort sits just minutes away.
The property itself brings plenty to the table beyond the Disney connection. Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress sits on 1,500 acres adjacent to Walt Disney World, anchored by an 800,000-gallon lagoon-style pool featuring 12 waterfalls, two whirlpools, a rock climbing wall, and water jet splash zones. Guests can explore the property on walking and jogging trails, get out on private Lake Windsong for watersports, or dine at Four Flamingos: A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen, the Michelin-recommended restaurant from the celebrity chef. Room options run from standard guest rooms up to the 2,375-square-foot President’s House on the private lake. The resort is also pet-friendly.

The hotel was ranked among the top five Orlando resorts in both the 2025 Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards and the 2025 U.S. News and World Report rankings, so the Disney Gateway designation is landing on a property that already had strong standing with travelers.
Guests can book through the Walt Disney World website or by calling (407) 934-7639. More information is available at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress.
