Disney and The Elf on the Shelf are officially joining forces for a first-ever holiday collaboration, and it is arriving this fall with Mickey Mouse, Olaf, Disney Princesses, and Spider-Man all getting the Scout Elf treatment.
The Lumistella Company, the brand behind the beloved Christmas tradition, has never before partnered with an outside entertainment company in this way. That changes this year with a Disney x Elf on the Shelf collection that includes themed outfits, props, accessories, kits, and carriers priced between $12.95 and $25.95.

The four Disney franchises featured in the launch are Mickey Mouse and Friends, Frozen’s Olaf, Disney Princesses, and Spider-Man. Lumistella co-CEO Christa Pitts noted that Disney felt like a natural fit because many families were already building Disney-themed elf setups at home on their own, sometimes even using their Scout Elf to reveal a surprise Disney Parks trip to their kids.
Pre-sales begin on Amazon in mid-July. The full collection hits The Santa Store on September 15, followed by a wider rollout to Target, Walmart, CVS, and Michaels. Lumistella co-CEO Chanda Bell said the partnership is designed to expand how families interact with their elves during the season rather than replace the original tradition. The company also teased that more characters and stories could follow in future years.
Our Take: This is the kind of collab that makes complete sense once you see it. Disney and Elf on the Shelf already share a massive overlap in their audience, and Lumistella clearly did the homework here. Starting at $12.95, this is an affordable way to layer something new into a tradition families have been doing for years. Spider-Man and Olaf together in one holiday collection is the kind of thing kids are going to lose their minds over come September.
