It’s an exciting time at Walt Disney World, and I’m looking forward to being part of it in the months ahead.”

We have had the pleasure of crossing paths with Jeff many times over the years, and he was always genuinely gracious with his time. Every conversation left an impression, whether he was talking about the Cast Members he clearly adored, the deep history of the parks, or dropping just enough of a hint about what was coming to get your imagination running, without ever giving away the real answer. The man was busy by any measure, and he still stopped for a selfie. That says a lot. Thirty-six years is a career most people in any industry never match, and the fact that he is going out with Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets and Cool Kids’ Summer on his checklist says everything about the kind of leader he has been. Whoever takes this seat next inherits a resort in genuine momentum, and that is largely his doing.
