Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle honored former Executive Vice President and CFO of Disney Experiences Kevin Lansberry with a window on Main Street U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom, one of the highest and most meaningful honors the company bestows on its leaders. Lansberry recently retired after a 40-year career with The Walt Disney Company spanning finance and operations across Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and the broader Disney Parks global portfolio.

What a Main Street Window Means
The windows on the upper floors of Main Street U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom are modeled after a Victorian-era storytelling tradition each one reads like a fictional business directory listing, with a name, title, and tagline that reflect the real person’s contributions to Disney. The tradition dates back to the earliest days of the park and has been used to honor Walt Disney’s original team of Imagineers and company leaders. Receiving a window is considered one of the most lasting tributes Walt Disney World can offer.
Lansberry’s window reads: Main Street Trust and Loan, Kevin Lansberry, Director, Care, Compassion, Commitment. A second panel below reads: Investing in Making Dreams Come True. The window is now permanently installed on Main Street U.S.A. for guests to find on their visits to Magic Kingdom.

Kevin Lansberry’s 40-Year Career at Disney
Lansberry spent 40 years with The Walt Disney Company as a finance and operations leader, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and CFO of Disney Experiences in roles that touched nearly every corner of the Disney Parks and Resorts business. He held finance and operations roles at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, served as Vice President of Downtown Disney, led Transportation, Sports, and Golf Operations, and eventually served as Vice President of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, giving him firsthand experience running the park that is now home to Bluey’s Wild World.
He later became Senior Vice President of Worldwide Travel Operations, overseeing global call centers and consumer direct sales across all parks and resorts. In 2013, he became Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Domestic Business, adding international businesses in 2015. He was named Executive Vice President and CFO of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts in May 2017, with Consumer Products added to his portfolio in March 2018. He also served as interim CFO of The Walt Disney Company from July through December 2023 during a transition period for the company.
Lansberry holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Ball State University and a Master of Business Administration from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College.
Jeff Vahle’s Tribute
Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle shared the window dedication on LinkedIn and Instagram, writing: “We honored longtime Disney leader Kevin Lansberry with a window on Main Street U.S.A., one of our highest honors at Walt Disney World. Kevin recently retired after an incredible 40-year career spanning finance and operations. Over the years, I was fortunate to work closely with Kevin and learn from him. Care, compassion, and commitment perfectly describe the leadership legacy he leaves behind. Congratulations, and thank you, Kevin.”

Our Take
The Main Street window ceremony is one of those Magic Kingdom moments that most guests walk past without knowing the full story behind it. Every window on that street represents a real person who gave decades to building and running the parks guests love. Lansberry’s window landing right on Main Street U.S.A. with Cinderella Castle visible in the background, is exactly the kind of quiet, permanent recognition that makes this tradition meaningful. Next time you are walking up Main Street, look up.
