Walt Disney World has unveiled a new after-2 p.m summer ticket and a returning Disney+ Perks resort discount, giving families two new ways to save and plan for a Cool Kids’ Summer at the most magical place on earth. Both offers go on sale this week and cover travel windows through mid-August 2026.
Walt Disney World’s New After-2-P.M. Summer Ticket. Starting April 1, 2026, Walt Disney World is selling a new partial-day ticket that lets guests skip the morning rush and arrive at any of the four theme parks after 2 p.m. through regular park close. No theme park reservation is required, which is a notable perk for families who prefer to keep their plans flexible.
The ticket is available in two options: a two-day pass starting from $235 plus tax, and a three-day pass starting from $329 plus tax. The arrival window runs from May 26 through July 29, 2026. Guests arriving in the afternoon will still be able to catch special evening entertainment, including Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.
One thing to note before booking: any dining reservations, Lightning Lane selections, or mobile orders made before 2 p.m. will not be valid with this ticket, so guests should plan accordingly and hold off on pre-park purchases until arrival.
Disney+ Perks Member Resort Discount Is Back. Beginning April 2, Disney+ subscribers enrolled in the Disney+ Perks program can access discounted rates at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels. The deal covers most nights from June 21 through August 15, 2026, with a two-night minimum stay required.
Discounted starting rates include $99 per night at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort for a standard room, $169 per night at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside in a standard location with a fifth sleeper, $249 per night at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in a Cars Family Suite, $279 per night at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort in a Deluxe Studio, and $369 per night at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge with a Savanna View.
These price points make staying on property more accessible for families, and being on site means easier midday breaks, which can be a game-changer during Florida’s summer heat.
Free Water Park Admission for Resort Guests. Guests staying at any Disney Resorts Collection hotel can also get free admission to one of Walt Disney World’s two water parks on their check-in day, available between May 26 and September 8, 2026, subject to availability. Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open this summer, so families can choose the experience that fits their group best.
