Halloween Horror Nights 35 tickets are officially on sale as of March 26, 2026, and Universal Orlando Resort is calling this the most expansive edition of the event in its 35-year history. The event runs on 48 select nights from August 28 through November 1, with 10 all-new haunted houses, scare zones, live entertainment, and the return of the fan-favorite Premium Scream Night — this year offered on two separate dates.
If you have been waiting for the right moment to lock in your fall plans at Universal Orlando, that moment is now. Here is a breakdown of every ticket and upgrade option currently available, plus what makes this year’s event worth circling on your calendar.

What Is Halloween Horror Nights 35? Halloween Horror Nights is Universal Orlando’s annual ticketed after-dark event that takes over Universal Studios Florida each fall. For 2026, the event’s 35th anniversary, Universal is transforming the park into the “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares” — a dark carnival concept built around two of HHN’s most iconic figures, Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow, who are teaming up as co-ringmasters for the first time in the event’s history.
Their pairing already has a dedicated haunted house, “Jack and Oddfellow: Chaos and Control,” which follows the origins of their long-running rivalry and the moment they realize that working together is far more dangerous than fighting each other ever was. If you want the full background on how this year’s theme came together, we covered the full announcement here.
More haunted houses, scare zones, and entertainment reveals are still coming. Universal has confirmed at least nine additional houses beyond the Jack and Oddfellow experience, and additional details are expected in the months ahead.

Every Ticket Option Now Available. Universal is selling several tiers of access for HHN 35, ranging from basic single-night entry to fully guided VIP experiences. Here is what is currently on sale.
Single-night tickets are valid for any one event night of your choosing and are the base admission to Halloween Horror Nights. Universal Express Passes can be added on top of standard admission to allow guests to skip the regular lines at haunted houses and select attractions during the event.
For the highest level of access, the R.I.P. Tour provides a guided small-group experience with priority VIP entry into haunted houses and attractions, along with additional premium perks. This is the way to go if you want to see as much as possible in a single night without spending your evening in lines.
The Scream Early add-on lets guests enter Universal Studios Florida starting at 2 p.m. before the event officially begins, giving access to park attractions and select haunted houses ahead of the regular crowds. The popular Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour also returns — a lights-on daytime tour that takes guests behind the scenes of select haunted houses to see how the scares are built.
The Vacation Package Option. Universal is also offering a vacation package that bundles one-night Halloween Horror Nights admission with daytime theme park access and hotel accommodations. Packages are available with savings of up to $200, with the actual savings varying based on the length of stay. The package includes daytime access to Universal’s four theme parks, which means guests visiting this fall can pair HHN with a day at Universal Epic Universe.
Universal currently has 11 on-site hotels, and staying at one of them comes with real perks during HHN season. Hotel guests receive complimentary transportation, a dedicated gate for event entry, and access to seasonal experiences running across the resort. If you are traveling from out of town, bundling accommodations into the package is worth taking seriously.
Premium Scream Night Is Back and Now on Two Dates. One of the biggest pieces of news buried in the ticket announcement is that Premium Scream Night is returning for two separate nights in 2026. The exclusive, lower-capacity event will run on Thursday, August 27 and Monday, October 19.
Premium Scream Night gives guests the full Halloween Horror Nights experience with noticeably shorter wait times compared to a standard event night. The trade-off is a higher ticket price and limited availability. Tickets for both Premium Scream Night dates are on sale now. August 27 is the night before the event’s official opening, making it an especially good option for guests who want to get through as many houses as possible with minimal waiting.
Is HHN 35 Worth Planning Around? Thirty-five years is a real milestone, and Universal is clearly treating it as one. Ten original haunted houses, a 48-night run, two Premium Scream Nights, and the first-ever co-headlining of Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow suggests this is not a by-the-numbers anniversary edition. The question of how the houses themselves hold up will not be answerable until August, but the setup is as ambitious as the event has announced in recent years. If you have been curious about HHN but never made the trip, a milestone year with this much investment behind it is a reasonable one to pick.
