Written by Greg Gately

Every Super Mario Galaxy Movie popcorn bucket, collectible, and theater chain exclusive is confirmed and available starting Wednesday, April 1, 2026. This is the most comprehensive theater collectibles rollout for any Nintendo film to date, with the Yoshi Popcorn Bucket going wide across every major chain, Luma LED buckets available in six colors, Bowser’s Cauldron at Cinemark and AMC, and a Fandango-exclusive Orange Luma bundle. Fantasy Land News has tracked every announcement since the first Yoshi trailer dropped in January. Here is every item, at every chain, with confirmed pricing and purchase details.

Last updated: March 24, 2026. This article will be updated as additional chain announcements are confirmed, along with prices ahead of the April 1 opening.

The Yoshi Popcorn Bucket: Available at Every Major Chain

The Yoshi Popcorn Bucket is the shared non-exclusive bucket for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, rolling out simultaneously at AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Harkins, Marcus Theatres, Showcase Cinemas, and more when the film opens on April 1, 2026.

The design is a full-figure sculpt of Yoshi sitting in a relaxed pose, holding a white Yoshi Egg bowl where your popcorn goes. The egg features the classic green spots, and the detail across the whole piece is strong: a big round head, blue eyes, small orange shoes, and the red shell on its back. It holds 105oz and comes with popcorn at the time of purchase. It looks like something that belongs in a Super Nintendo World display case, and for a non-exclusive multi-chain release, that is genuinely impressive.

The Yoshi Popcorn Bucket is confirmed at $49.95 at Cinemark, where it is currently listed as coming soon on the Cinemark online shop, but it is available at the theaters now. Pricing at other chains has not been officially confirmed. The Yoshi bucket holds 105 OZ of popcorn.

The Yoshi Popcorn Bucket is designed and manufactured by ZINC. AMC was the first chain to announce it on March 7. Regal, Cinemark, Harkins, Marcus Theatres, and Showcase Cinemas all confirmed availability in the days that followed. We covered the full Yoshi announcement the day it dropped. Full Yoshi Popcorn Bucket details and first look here.

The Luma LED Popcorn Bucket: Six Colors, Light-Up Design

The Luma Star LED Popcorn Bucket is the premium standalone collectible for this film. The Lumas are the small star-shaped beings from the Mario universe, and this bucket captures the character in full-figure form with an LED light at its base that makes the bucket glow in the Luma’s signature color. A hatch at the back holds the popcorn.

The Luma LED bucket is available in six colors: green, red, yellow, blue, orange, and pink. Not every chain carries all six variants. Cinemark carries four colors (green, red, yellow, and blue) at $44.95, currently listed as coming soon on the Cinemark online shop. Epic Theatres is offering all six colors. The orange variant is a Fandango-exclusive available only as part of the Luma Galaxy Bundle pre-order (more on that below).

This is the highest-demand item in the lineup among collectors. Cinemark’s four colors are confirmed at $44.95 each. A full six-color set across chains runs well over $250, which is going to drive both individual purchases and secondary market activity. The LED feature and the character design are strong enough that these will move fast on opening weekend. Go early

Bowser’s Cauldron Is Now a Guinness World Record Holder

The Mini Bowser Cauldron is not just a collectible. On March 17, 2026, it was officially certified by Guinness World Records as the World’s Smallest Commercially Available Popcorn Container. The certification took place at AMC Theatres at Universal CityWalk Hollywood, with Fantasy Land News and Black Nerd Comedy serving as the two designated official witnesses. Both parties signed the Guinness documents on site. The record is a partnership between ZINC, Illumination, Universal Pictures, and AMC Theatres.

Full Guinness World Record details and photos here: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’s Mini Bowser Cauldron Sets Guinness World Record for Smallest Popcorn Bucket

The Guinness adjudicator used a precision digital scale and a Pyrex measuring cup filled with water to confirm the cauldron’s exact capacity: 105 ML. That is the confirmed, certified volume of the Mini Bowser Cauldron. Compare that to the Yoshi Popcorn Bucket at 105 oz, and you start to understand the scale difference. The cauldron holds 8 pieces of popcorn. The Yoshi bucket holds a full meal’s worth. Both are sold at the same theater.

The record was not awarded without context. Less than eight months earlier, the Galactus Popcorn Bucket set the Guinness record for the largest commercially available popcorn container at 9 liters. That bucket stood 17.5 inches tall and carried a $79.99 price tag. ZINC, Illumination, Universal, and AMC went in the exact opposite direction.

The standalone Mini Bowser Cauldron is available at AMC Theatres for $7.69 plus tax, and at Cinemark, Marcus Theatres, and select other locations. It is also included in the Cinemark Super Ticket bundle. We were on-site for the certification.

AMC Theatres: Yoshi, Yellow Luma LED Bucket, Bowser’s Cauldron, and More

AMC Theatres was the first chain to announce The Super Mario Galaxy Movie collectibles when it revealed the Yoshi Popcorn Bucket on March 7, and AMC also hosted the Guinness World Record certification for the Mini Bowser Cauldron on March 17. The full AMC lineup is now confirmed. Here is every item available at AMC locations starting April 1, 2026.

Yoshi Popcorn Bucket. The same 105oz full-figure Yoshi bucket available across all major chains. AMC was the first chain to confirm it. Pricing at AMC has not been officially confirmed.

Yellow Luma LED Popcorn Bucket. AMC is confirmed to carry the Yellow Luma LED Popcorn Bucket. It is the same light-up design available at Cinemark, Marcus Theatres, and other chains, with an LED base that makes the bucket glow yellow. Pricing at AMC has not been officially confirmed.

Bowser’s Cauldron Mini Popcorn Bucket. The Guinness World Record holder for the World’s Smallest Commercially Available Popcorn Container is confirmed at AMC for $7.69 plus tax. The cauldron holds 105 ML and 8 pieces of popcorn. Full Guinness details here. Galaxy Movie Tub. A large cylindrical tub featuring the film’s galaxy artwork with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie title treatment and character art. Pricing has not been officially confirmed. Bowser Cup. A collectible drink cup featuring full Bowser character art. Pricing has not been officially confirmed.

Cinemark Super Mario Galaxy Movie Lineup: The Most Extensive Per-Chain Collection

Cinemark has put together the most stacked single-chain collectibles program for this film. Here is every confirmed item.

Super Ticket Package — $35. Available exclusively for customers purchasing a Super Ticket showtime on April 1, 2026, at participating Cinemark theatres. This is not a standard opening-day walk-up purchase. You must buy the Super Ticket to access the bundle. The package includes six items: a Mini Popcorn Cauldron with a Bowser keychain attached, a Mini Poster with the film’s theatrical art, 1 of 6 collectible Luma Push Pins randomly assigned from blue, green, yellow, red, orange, and pink Luma figures, a Medium Drink, and a Popcorn Tub. The randomized Luma Push Pin is a deliberate collector mechanic. Six variants mean completionists need multiple visits or trading. The Mini Bowser Cauldron keychain is the standout piece in the bundle.

Luma Star LED Popcorn Bucket — $44.95. Available in four colors at Cinemark: green, red, yellow, and blue. The same LED light-up design described above. Comes with popcorn at time of purchase and a free same-day refill at Cinemark. Currently listed as coming soon on the Cinemark online shop.

Yoshi Popcorn Bucket — $49.95. The same multi-chain Yoshi bucket is available resort-wide. Cinemark is confirmed as a participating chain. Currently listed as coming soon on the Cinemark online shop.

Bowser’s Cauldron. A standalone version of the miniature cast-iron-style cauldron bucket is available separately from the Super Ticket bundle. It is the same item that now holds the Guinness World Record for the World’s Smallest Commercially Available Popcorn Container at 105 ML. The cauldron design has claw feet, looped side handles, and a top handle. It is a direct reference to Bowser’s shrunken state early in the film. At AMC, it is priced at $7.69 plus tax. Pricing at Cinemark has not been officially confirmed. As a standalone item it is small, detailed, and the kind of piece that will look completely unexpected on a collector’s shelf.

Additional Cinemark items: 44oz Souvenir Cup with movie galaxy artwork and free same-day refill, 130oz Round Tin with movie poster art and free same-day refill, 170oz Square Tub with free same-day refill, Throw Blanket with Super Mario Galaxy Movie imagery, and a Luma Plushie Bag Clip in yellow with a keychain attachment.

We covered the full Cinemark lineup the day it dropped. Full Cinemark Super Mario Galaxy Movie collectibles guide here.

Epic Theatres: All Six Luma Colors Plus a 260oz Tub

Epic Theatres, the Florida-based chain, is offering the most complete Luma LED bucket lineup of any chain: all six color variants, including orange and pink, which are not available at most other locations. They are also offering an oversized 260-oz tub option for the film.

If you are in Florida and want the full Luma color set, Epic Theatres is your best option. Most other chains carry a partial lineup. We covered the full Epic Theatres announcement when it dropped. Full Epic Theatres Super Mario Galaxy Movie lineup here.

Regal Cinemas: Yoshi, Luma (Green and Yellow), Collectible Combo, and Thermos

Regal has confirmed four items for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, opening April 1, 2026.

Yoshi Popcorn Bucket. The same 105oz Yoshi figure bucket is available across all major chains. Regal confirmed it comes with a free large popcorn at the time of purchase.

Luma Popcorn Buckets — your choice of green or yellow. Regal is carrying two Luma color variants: green and yellow. This has fewer options than Cinemark (four colors) or Epic Theatres (all six). If you want red, blue, orange, or pink, you need Cinemark, Epic Theatres, or the Fandango bundle.

Collectible Combo. A bundled package that includes a Square Tin, a 44oz Cup, and a character keychain bag clip. Pricing has not been officially confirmed.

Super Mario Thermos — featuring classic characters. A standalone collectible thermos featuring classic Mario franchise characters. This is a Regal-specific item not confirmed at other chains. Pricing has not been officially confirmed.

Regal also began selling advance tickets for the film on MAR10 Day, March 10, 2026, and is offering Mario-themed specialty beverages including a Peach Freeze ICEE, a Star Power Cherry ICEE, and Super Mario Galaxy Feastable candies. We covered the Regal ticket launch and merchandise details when they were announced. Full Regal Super Mario Galaxy Movie details here.

Showcase Cinemas: Five Items Confirmed for Opening Day

Showcase Cinemas, which operates locations across the Northeast and Midwest United States as well as the United Kingdom and Brazil, has confirmed five items for opening day April 1: the Yoshi Popcorn Bucket, a Cup, a Tub, a Square Cup, and a Square Tin. All five are available at participating Showcase locations on opening day while supplies last.

Pricing has not been officially confirmed by Showcase, but based on comparable items at other chains, expect the Yoshi bucket at approximately $50 and the flat merchandise items in the $20 to $35 range. We covered the full Showcase announcement when it was confirmed. Full Showcase Cinemas Super Mario Galaxy Movie lineup here.

Marcus Theatres: Yoshi, Yellow Luma LED, Mini Cauldron, Blind Bag Plush, and Star Power Party

Marcus Theatres has one of the strongest per-chain lineups for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, with four confirmed items and an exclusive in-theater event on April 4.

Yoshi Popcorn Bucket. The same 105oz multi-chain Yoshi figure bucket is available at all major chains starting April 1.

Yellow Luma LED Popcorn Bucket. Marcus is confirmed to carry the Yellow Luma LED bucket. Unlike Cinemark which carries four Luma colors, and Epic Theatres, which carries all six, Marcus has confirmed yellow specifically. Additional colors at Marcus have not been confirmed at this time.

Mini Popcorn Cauldron Keychain. A miniature cast-iron-style Bowser cauldron on a keychain, with a Bowser acrylic charm also attached. This is the same Mini Cauldron design included in the Cinemark Super Ticket bundle, but at Marcus, it is available as a standalone keychain item.

Blind Bag Plush Keychain — Coming Soon. Marcus has confirmed that a Blind Bag Plush Keychain is on the way, shown in promotional materials as a small green star-shaped plush with a clip. The coming soon designation means it was not available on opening day, April 1, and will arrive at Marcus locations at a later date. We will update when the release date is confirmed.

Star Power Party — Saturday, April 4. Marcus Theatres is hosting a Star Power Party on April 4, 2026, a ticketed in-theater event tied to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Purchasing a Star Power Party ticket gets you two collectibles — a Mini Popcorn Cauldron Keychain and one Super Mario Luma Mystery Push Pin (one of six, pin selection varies) — plus a junior popcorn, photo opportunities, and activities before the film. This is a Marcus-exclusive event not available at other chains. If you are in a Marcus Theatres market and have kids, this is worth booking over a standard opening-day screening.

Marcus Theatres operates locations across the Midwest and is available nationally through the Marcus MegaStore online. We will update with confirmed pricing on all Marcus items as they are released.

Fandango: The Orange Luma Galaxy Bundle at $49.99

Fandango is offering an exclusive pre-order bundle that is not available at any physical theater chain: the Luma Galaxy Bundle at $49.99. The bundle includes one movie ticket to see The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and one Orange Luma LED Popcorn Bucket, the color variant that is otherwise unavailable at most chain locations.

The bundle is available through the Fandango app and Fandango.com. After purchasing, the Orange Luma bucket ships to your physical address and you receive a separate email with a promotional code for one movie ticket redeemable at a participating Fandango theater. The bundle is non-refundable and limited while supplies last. Domestic shipping is added at checkout.

This is the only way to get the orange Luma variant outside of Epic Theatres. If you want the color and do not have an Epic Theatres location nearby, this is your option. We covered the Fandango bundle when it went live. Full Fandango Orange Luma bundle details here.

Super Nintendo World at Universal Epic Universe: MAR10 Day Through April 13

If you are in the Orlando area around the film’s opening, Super Nintendo World at Universal Epic Universe is running a MAR10 Day celebration from Tuesday, March 10 through Monday, April 13, 2026. The activation includes a Yoshi meet-and-greet, which is a significant addition given Yoshi has not previously been available as a regular character meet-and-greet experience, and exclusive Luma interactive shoulder pals available inside the land.

The timing of the MAR10 Day activation with the April 1 film opening creates a full Mario week for fans in Florida: see the film at Epic Theatres with all six Luma colors, then head to Universal Epic Universe for the Yoshi meet-and-greet and the shoulder pal exclusive. We covered the full Universal activation when it was announced. Full Super Nintendo World MAR10 Day details here.

How to Get These Buckets Before They Sell Out

Mario merchandise moved fast after the first film in 2023, and this release is significantly larger in scope. Here is the practical advice for the opening weekend.

The Cinemark Super Ticket bundle requires you to buy the Super Ticket showtime specifically. Standard opening-day ticket purchases do not qualify. If you want the bundle, go to Cinemark’s site or app now and book the Super Ticket format for April 1.

The Fandango Orange Luma bundle ships to your address and requires advance ordering. Do not wait until opening day for this one. Limited quantities will sell through before April 1.

For the Luma LED buckets at physical chains, arrive at an early showing on opening day. LED collectible buckets at this price point tend to sell through the initial stock at popular locations same day. Chains typically restock, but the first wave is the most reliable.

The Yoshi bucket has the widest availability of any item in this lineup. If it sells out at your local chain on opening day, check back after the first weekend. The broader rollout across multiple chains means restocking is more consistent than for chain-exclusive items.

Check each chain’s online shop in the days before April 1. AMC Shop, Regal Store, and Cinemark’s online store all sell collectibles for in-store pickup or shipping. Some items may appear for online pre-purchase before the film opens.
