Disney has officially confirmed that Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin reopens at Magic Kingdom on April 8, 2026. April 8th puts the reopening well ahead of spring break for most families, and it is the first major attraction opening of Disney’s Cool Kids’ Summer season.
We covered every new feature in detail earlier this week. Read our full breakdown of what is new in Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin for everything: the handheld blasters with haptic feedback, the new Buddy character, reactive targets, updated ride vehicles, and the uncapped scoring system.
