Disney has a new leader for its parks, resorts, cruise ships, and consumer products business. Thomas Mazloum has been named Chairman of Disney Experiences, stepping into the role previously held by Josh D’Amaro. D’Amaro is moving up to become the next Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company.
Mazloum is not a new face at Disney. He spent years in senior leadership at Walt Disney World Resort before becoming President of Disney Signature Experiences, where he oversaw a plan to double the size of the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Most recently, he served as President of Disneyland Resort during its 70th anniversary year. Before joining Disney, he ran Crystal Cruise Line as Chief Operating Officer and spent years in European luxury hospitality.
His new role puts him in charge of a massive portfolio: theme parks around the world, Disney Cruise Line, resort hotels, Disney Adventures, Walt Disney Imagineering, and consumer products.
“Thomas Mazloum is an exceptional leader with a genuine appreciation for our cast members and a proven track record of delivering growth,” said D’Amaro. “His focus on service excellence, broad international leadership, and strong connection to the creativity that brings our stories to life make him the right leader to guide Disney Experiences into its next chapter.”
Three other leadership changes were announced alongside his appointment, all effective March 18.
Jill Estorino becomes President of Disneyland Resort. She previously led Disney Parks International and helped open Shanghai Disney Resort. Tasia Filippatos takes over as President of Disney Parks International, which includes Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disney Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, and the upcoming park in Abu Dhabi. Lisa Baldzicki is promoted to President of Disney Consumer Products, a division that spans more than 100 product categories across 180 countries.
All three report directly to Mazloum.
The changes take effect March 18, 2026.
