It’s Sunday, and that means an all-new episode of Hallmark Channel’s much-loved series When Calls The Heart. Grab your tissues because this one will pull at the heartstrings. Season 13 Episode 9 of When Calls the Heart airs tonight on Hallmark Channel and tomorrow on Hallmark+. “After losing his father’s medal on a hike, Elizabeth and Nathan organize a trip down memory lane for Little Jack with a very special surprise.”
From the sneak peeks shared by Hallmark Channel, we see that Little Jack is upset that he lost Jack’s medal. Elizabeth thinks that this is more than the medal. He wants his dad to feel real. Fans may remember that Elizabeth found out she was pregnant shortly after Jack passed away. Little Jack never got to meet his dad.
Elizabeth, Nathan, and Allie take LJ on a scavenger hunt around Hope Valley, not to find treasure but to find memories of his father. She calls it his memory hunt. In one video shared on Instagram, Elizabeth gives him the riddle, “Love can grow under the sun or the moon. For your dad and me, it started right here in the…” LJ responds, “Saloon.” Elizabeth tells him that’s right and leads him to new treasures. There is Elizabeth and Jack’s wedding photo and a little music box that she tells LJ that his dad used during their Christmas Mountie Ball.
It looks like the whole town gets involved in this memory hunt. We see Lee and Rosemary, Bill, Henry, and finally the return of Brooke Shields as LJ’s grandmother, Charlotte Thornton.
