ESPN and Disney+ are bringing more Savannah Bananas games to fans in 2026 through an expanded broadcast deal. This new agreement includes 25 exclusive games, which is more than double the number shown last year. Fans can watch every game in this package on Disney+ and the ESPN App, with some games also airing on ABC and ESPN networks.
The 2026 season kicks off on February 28 with a matchup between the Tailgaters and the Bananas. A major highlight this year is the first national broadcast on ABC, featuring a game from Autzen Stadium in Oregon on June 28.
This partnership also connects the team with Disney theme parks. On March 26, Disneyland Resort will host Savannah Bananas Day. This event features players appearing in parades and special shows. In Florida, Walt Disney World will host Banana Ball Day on May 29. The celebration takes place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and features a game between the Party Animals and the Loco Beach Coconuts. This is a big moment for the new Loco Beach Coconuts as they prepare to play at Disney World as part of the six-team Banana Ball Championship League.
Jesse Cole, the owner of the Savannah Bananas, says this deal helps the sport reach a wider audience. The team continues to produce its own broadcasts with a focus on high quality and professional talent.
The 2026 tour will also visit several famous venues across the country. Stops include Yankee Stadium, Wrigley Field, and Gillette Stadium. There is even a special event planned near the ESPN offices in Connecticut this July.
Every game in the new schedule is available to stream for those with a Disney+ or ESPN App subscription. This growth shows the rising demand for the fast-paced and fun style of play that defines Banana Ball.
