Coming Soon to Orlando's I-Drive 'Great Big Game Show': Buzzers, Confetti, and Competition

Coming Soon to Orlando’s I-Drive ‘Great Big Game Show’: Buzzers, Confetti, and Competition. International Drive is about to get a major dose of high-energy competition. Great Big Game Show, the latest immersive concept from the creators of The Escape Game, has officially announced it is coming soon to the heart of Orlando’s tourism district.

The expansion marks a full-circle moment for the brand. Back in 2015, Orlando was one of the first cities in the country to embrace The Escape Game when escape rooms were still a niche concept. The city’s massive support helped propel the brand from a single location into a powerhouse national name. Now, the team is returning the favor by bringing their newest “live-action” attraction to the I-Drive corridor.

What is Great Big Game Show?

Unlike a traditional escape room, where the goal is to break out, Great Big Game Show puts players directly onto a custom-built soundstage, complete with podiums, buzzers, and professional lighting. You can follow Great Big Game Show on IG.

The experience is designed to be a high-stakes, “all-of-the-fun, none-of-the-stress” version of a televised game show. Here is how the gameplay works:

  • The Format: Players are split into two teams to face off in a series of head-to-head challenges.
  • The Rounds: Each show consists of five or more rotating mini-games. Because the games rotate, no two visits are exactly the same.
  • Diverse Challenges: The line-up includes a mix of trivia, strategy games, speed tests, and physical challenges. Every mini-game starts with a brief video explanation to ensure everyone knows how to play before the buzzer rings.
  • The Live Host: A live, charismatic host moderates every session, tailoring the difficulty to the group’s age and energy level while keeping the competition fierce but friendly.
  • The Grand Finale: Points are tallied throughout the hour, culminating in a winner being crowned amidst a literal shower of confetti.

The new venue will be situated in the heart of Orlando’s I-Drive, strategically located near the area’s premier dining and retail hubs. The creators designed the experience to be the perfect “add-on” for a night out.

“We’re opening right where the action is,” the company stated. “Heading out for a meal, doing some shopping, or spending a night on the town? Add a Great Big Game Show to the line-up!”

Tickets and Availability

While an official opening date for the Orlando location has yet to be revealed, the brand has already made single-player tickets available for purchase. Fans can choose between Digital Tickets for instant delivery or Physical Tickets, which serve as the perfect gift for birthdays or special occasions.

Whether you’re an Orlando local who remembers the original escape room craze or a tourist looking for the next big thrill on I-Drive, Great Big Game Show promises an hour of “spin to win” excitement that turns every player into a star.
