Alices Tea Party is coming to the Grand Floridian on March 19

Alice’s Tea Party is coming to the Grand Floridian on March 19. The Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian is finally reopening. Starting March 19, they’re hosting a new afternoon tea called “Alice’s Tea Party.” If you want to go, you can start booking reservations on February 19. Garden View Lounge Tea Experience at Walt Disney World!

The whole experience is inspired by the Alice in Wonderland movie. It’s got a mix of the classic Grand Floridian style and some weirder, whimsical touches. It’s for both adults and kids, so you can bring the whole family.

What’s on the drink menu? They teamed up with Twinings for the tea. You can get standard stuff like Earl Grey or Breakfast tea, but they also have some specific blends. One is called “Orangery of Lady Grey,” and you can only get it at Disney World. There’s also a chocolate hazelnut tea and a caffeine-free lavender version.

A cast member acts as a guide to help you pick your tea and an “aromatic” to go with it while it steeps.

If you want something stronger, they have two tea cocktails:

  • The Mar-TEA-ni: Gin, Earl Grey, lemon, and honey.
  • The Mint Tulip: Whiskey, peach mango tea, and mint.

They also have champagne and a few non-alcoholic “mocktails” that have a glittery effect.

The Food It starts with an orange-cranberry scone. After that, they bring out a three-tier tower of food.

For the savory side, there’s:

  • A curried chicken salad tart.
  • A salmon rillette on a miso crisp.
  • Egg salad on beet bread.
  • A cucumber and cream cheese roll.

For dessert, you get:

  • A matcha and apricot sponge cake.
  • A vanilla and coffee tart.
  • A passion fruit cream puff.
  • An Earl Grey teacake that they “paint” with color right at your table.

They have plant-based options too. If you want to spend more, you can add a cheese plate or caviar to your order.

For Kids The kids’ menu has smaller, simpler bites. It includes a grilled cheese, a turkey wrap, and a peanut-butter-style bun. For dessert, they get a raspberry macaron, a brownie, and a vanilla cupcake.

Check out the Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. In early 2026, The Garden View Lounge will reopen with a refreshed look that complements the new lobby design. The space will offer a new tea experience with whimsical Disney touches for Guests of all ages.
