But the coaster isn’t being torn down, just rethemed to The Muppets.
Disney Parks has officially announced the opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets in Summer 2026 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, delivering a dose of high-speed chaos and Electric Mayhem rock and roll. The re-themed attraction will replace the park’s current coaster and promises the same high-velocity thrills, but with a new storyline bursting with signature Muppet humor.
The premise puts guests on a wild, rock-fueled race across Hollywood to get The Electric Mayhem to their biggest concert yet. Before they board their lightning-fast limo, guests will be brought into the newly Muppet-managed G-Force Records.
