MISS PIGGY ARRESTED! Sabrina Carpenter Finale Brings Muppet Mayhem to Los Angeles Stage. Disney Legend Miss Piggy Detained in Tour’s Final Celebrity Gag.
The Muppets and pop music collided last night as Miss Piggy was “arrested” during the final stop of Sabrina Carpenter’s highly successful Short ‘n’ Sweet Tour in Los Angeles.
The popular tour has featured a nightly celebrity ‘detention,’ where Carpenter playfully detains a famous guest as part of the show’s recurring bit. For the grand finale, the singer recruited one of Disney’s biggest legends, Miss Piggy, confirming rumors of a major surprise.
The iconic Muppet star, accompanied by fellow Muppet Bobo the Bear, appeared in the audience before being escorted away by Bobo dressed as security. Miss Piggy received a huge ovation from the audience inside the Crypto.com Arena. Unfortunately for Miss Piggy, Bobo may have taken the ‘Arrest’ to be real and actually locked her up.
No word has been released by the Pig’s representatives. The incident marked a memorable conclusion to the tour’s tradition of celebrity cameos.
Fans quickly shared photos and videos of the unexpected appearance online, celebrating the collaboration between the “Espresso” singer and the beloved Muppet.
