Zootopia Cops Evict Boy and His Talking Golden Retriever from Animal Kingdom Club House. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are in hot pursuit of the area surrounding the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. In the process, the Law Duo is evicting the residents of the local clubhouse! Russell James Grayson and a Talking Golden Retriever named Delta, alias “Dug”, have recently been removed by the incoming Zootopia Police Department (ZPD) from their Wilderness Explorers Club House at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The duo had been meeting and greeting guests visiting the park since their return in early 2024.
Officer Nick Wilde and his partner, Officer Judy Hopps of the ZPD, had no comment when we reached out for a statement. The Officers will be debuting in the spot formerly known as the Dug & Russel’s Wilderness Explorers Club House when the new ZPD propaganda film Better Zoogether arrives on November 7th, 2025. There is no official word on whether the other Officer named Clawhouser will be joining them as of this writing.
When we reached out for comment, Russel had the following statement: “Good afternoon, my name is Russell. I am a Wilderness Explorer.” and he ended with “Caw Caw, ROAR!”. Cryptic wording from a boy who ended up in South America, just using a broken GPS!
Meanwhile, the talking golden retriever, whom we suspected would bark at us, had this to say: “I have just met you, and I love you!”
In the eminent domain takeover of the area, Russel and Dug have been relocated to the other side of the Tree of Life, which displaced Pocahontas, and she is now meeting guests in the front of the Park.

Property Seizure and Civil Eviction
DATE/TIME: 2025-10-22, 10:00 EST LOCATION: Dug & Russell’s Wilderness Explorers Clubhouse, Discovery Island, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Orlando, FL. INCIDENT TYPE: Eminent Domain Enforcement / Unlicensed Operation RESPONDING OFFICERS: Officer J. Hopps (Badge 83), Officer N. Wilde (Badge 90)
At 10:00 EST, Officers Hopps and Wilde executed a mandated civil eviction order for the property identified as the “Wilderness Explorers Clubhouse.” This action was taken pursuant to an imminent area takeover by the Zootopia Police Department (ZPD) in advance of the cinematic propaganda film, Better Zoogether, debuting on November 7th, 2025.
Two occupants were present and cooperative during removal:
- Russell James Grayson: Minor human male (DOB unknown), approximately 8-10 years old.
- Delta (Alias “Dug”): Domestic Canine (Golden Retriever), exhibiting anomalous speech capabilities.
Upon notification of the eviction, the minor male offered the following verbal statement: “Good afternoon, my name is Russell. I am a Wilderness Explorer. Caw Caw, ROAR!”. The canine provided a single, non-threatening, but emotionally confusing statement: “I have just met you, and I love you!”.
Both parties have been peacefully relocated to a secondary, temporary meet-and-greet location near the Tree of Life. This relocation necessitated the further displacement of Character Pocahontas, who is now stationed at the front-of-park area.
Officers Hopps and Wilde secured the property for immediate conversion into the ZPD-sanctioned propaganda debut location. No resistance or injuries were reported.
DISPOSITION: Case closed, property secured.
