Emerald City or Glinda’s Bubble? ‘Wicked: For Good’ Popcorn Buckets Guide. Today, Ozians around the country are celebrating Wicked Wednesday with tickets going on sale, and movie theaters announcing the popcorn bucket and cups that will arrive in theaters on November 21st when the movie opens! Regal Cinemas, AMC Theaters, Cinemark, and more have announced Wicked: For Good popcorn buckets for Wicked For Good.
Emerald City Popcorn Bucket, an Elphaba and/or Glinda Popcorn Bucket, Glinda’s Bubble Popcorn Bucket, and a Wicked: For Good Music Box Popcorn Bucket all lead the way, with some being exclusive to certain theaters.
Prices range from $14.00 for a paper bucket up to an announced $47.95 for the intricately designed Emerald City popcorn bucket. Expect them to be sold in theaters and online at the theater shops. Release dates will vary depending on the theater, but expect to see the first ones showing up a week before the first showing of the movie on November 20th, 2025.
Emerald City popcorn bucket features an intricately designed cityscape. The bucket opens on the back side of the top behind the outline of the Wizard of Oz’s tower. While the Glinda Bubble popcorn bucket will light up and has a figure of Glinda herself glowing when the light is on, it has a circular opening on the back for filling it with popcorn (but who would?)
The two other major releases are the Regal Wicked: For Good Musical Box popcorn bucket that has the intertwined initials of E & G (Elphaba and Glinda). When the box is opened, the two witches pop up, and music plays. The Grimmerie popcorn tin is a book that is closed by a latch and can be opened. The Grimmerie is the spellbook that Elphaba can read from to cast her magic. It appears to be opened from either side, and the top or bottom of each has drawings of spells.
Tickets are now on sale, plus Prime Members can get a chance to see the movie first through Fandango on November 17th
