Epcot’s Frozen Ever After Getting Major Character Upgrades. Disney will refresh the main character Audio-Animatronics figures at the Frozen Ever After attraction in EPCOT’s Norway pavilion. The updates will affect the Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff figures. Disney Parks just announced the upgrades coming to Epcot in 2026. They also announced a new Benjamin Clawhauser Animatronic coming to Zootopia ‘Better Zoogether’ and a Scooter Animatronic coming to Rock n Roller Coaster starring The Muppets
The refresh draws inspiration from the advanced Audio-Animatronics technology recently used in the Frozen Ever After attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland’s World of Frozen.
The EPCOT ride, which opened in 2016, features all-electric Audio-Animatronics, a technology Disney has since expanded to attractions like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The upcoming investment aims to give the characters a more movie-accurate appearance.
The upgraded figures are expected to debut early next year. Disney has not announced the exact closing date of the attraction, or if the attraction needs to go down at all during the upgrades.
