Disney Junior Era Ends at Hollywood Studios: All Characters Gone by October 12th

Starting October 12th, 2025, there will be no Disney Junior Characters at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The breakfast buffet at Disney’s Hollywood & Vine character meal will be removed to make way for Minnie Mouse and her friends’ breakfast. This shift from Disney Junior characters to Minnie’s Holiday Dine happens in November every year; this year, it is a month early, leaving Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, and Fancy Nancy homeless for the time being.

From the Walt Disney World Website: “Beginning October 12, 2025, Minnie Mouse and her friends will appear at breakfast for Minnie’s Seasonal Dining. Guests dining during breakfast will continue to experience Disney Junior Play n’ Dine through October 11, 2025.” Halloween Dine August 16, 2025, to November 5, 2025, Holiday Dine November 6, 2025, to January 4, 2026.

Following the permanent closure of the Animation Courtyard on September 25, 2025, popular Disney Junior meet-and-greet characters like Doc McStuffins and Vampirina are no longer appearing at the park. Their last remaining presence will be the Disney Junior Play n’ Dine breakfast through October 11th.

The Disney Junior characters are not scheduled to meet and greet in any location at Hollywood Studios. Donald & Daisy, Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and Goofy & Max, who have all moved to different sections of the Park once the Animation Courtyard closed. This could always change, so stay tuned to the My Disney Experience app.

Disney Junior Animation Courtyard and Star Wars Launch Bay, along with the famous Disney’s Hollywood Studios Archway, are all being either removed or rethemed. Star Wars Launch Bay is being removed, while the building will be rethemed into “The Magic of Disney Animation.” The Hollywood Studios archway is being removed, and Disney Junior Play and Dance! is being rethemed. The whole courtyard will now be known as “The Walt Disney Studios” lot.

There have been no real plans released from Disney Parks about what will be coming to the Disney Junior Play and Dance! at Hollywood Studios. Previously, Disney Parks and Official Bluey have announced that Bluey would be coming to Walt Disney World in 2025, but there are only 3 months left in 2025, and we have had no announcement as to when or where. The theory was that Bluey and Bingo would show up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

How cool would it be for Bluey to show up as a Character Meal at Hollywood Studios, especially at Disney’s Hollywood & Vine?
