Families are in for a treat as two beloved stars join the furry cast of Disney Jr.’s popular show, “SuperKitties.” Utkarsh Ambudkar, known for his role in “Ghosts,” and Ginnifer Goodwin, who voiced the lead in “Zootopia,” are set to lend their voices to the show’s new villains.
The talented duo will voice Champster and Pamster Glamster, a hilariously clueless and glamorous brother and sister hamster team. Known as “The Glamsters,” their shenanigans are sure to cause a bit of chaos for the SuperKitties in the upcoming third season.
The new season is set to be “Su-Purr Wild,” with a new story arc that takes the superhero kittens—Ginny, Sparks, Buddy, and Bitsy—on an adventure into the Kittydale Wild Jungle. There, they’ll team up with their wildcat friend Willa and meet some new jungle critters.
The premiere of “SuperKitties” Season 3 is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 22, on Disney Jr. (7:30 a.m. PDT) and Disney Channel (8:00 a.m. PDT), with the first six episodes becoming available for streaming on Wednesday, Oct. 1, on Disney+.
Since its debut in 2023, “SuperKitties” has become a big hit with preschoolers and their families, boasting 6.5 billion minutes watched across platforms and over a quarter billion views on YouTube.
The show’s popularity has also led to a wide range of merchandise, including toys, apparel, books, and more, available at retailers and online. Music from the series is also a hit, with a new soundtrack, “Disney Jr. Music: SuperKitties Su-Purr Wild Original Soundtrack,” releasing on Friday, Sept. 19.
Fans can also see some of their favorite characters from the show in person, as Ginny and Bitsy are part of the “Disney Jr. Live On Tour: Let’s Play!” traveling concert.
“SuperKitties,” which is a top 10 most-watched streaming series for preschoolers, follows the four heroic kittens on their mission to make their town of Kittydale a more caring and “pawesome” place. The show, created by Emmy® Award winner Paula Rosenthal, is produced by Sony Pictures Television – Kids in association with Disney Jr. All episodes from seasons 1 and 2 are currently available to stream on Disney+.
