AMC's New Spinal Tap II Popcorn Bucket Goes to 11

AMC’s New Spinal Tap II Popcorn Bucket Goes to 11. Forty-one years after the release of the groundbreaking mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap, the now estranged bandmates David St. Hubbins, Nigel Tufnel, and Derek Smalls (Michael McKean, Christopher Guest, and Harry Shearer) are forced to reunite for one final concert, and AMC Theaters is the only movie theater that has a Spinal Tap 2 popcorn bucket and cup being released when the movie comes out on September 11th, 2025.

Spinal Tap II Popcorn Bucket and Collectible Cup – Take it to Eleven!

Rock on with the SPINAL TAP II collectible cup and popcorn tin—large drink or popcorn included. Available in theatres 9/11 while supplies last. The popcorn tin features the Marshall Amp look, which has become famous with musicians around the world. The front is a black mesh, and on the top appears to be a Marshall Head control dial with Bass, Middle, Top, and Volume knobs that all go to 11. The popcorn bucket also has the Spine Tap II logo.

Fans of the original Spinal Tap will understand the reference to the famous scene in the 1984 mockumentary, “This is Spinal Tap,” where guitarist Nigel Tufnel explains to director Marty DiBergi that their amplifiers are modified to have volume knobs that go up to 11, one louder than the standard 10, to achieve a higher level of sound.

The Spinal Tap 2 cup features a lid and a straw. The cup is a black background with the Spinal Tap II logo, while the lid is blue, and the straw is black.

Prices have not been revealed as of this writing, and we will update when we know more. We think the Spine Tap II popcorn tin will be $15.00 – $19.99. The collectible cup should cost $12.99 – $14.99.

For more Disney and Movie popcorn buckets and collectibles! AMC has also announced the new Toy Story 30th Anniversary Popcorn Buckets coming to theaters the same day.
