D23 Announces TRON Triple Feature Event at AMC Disney Springs That Includes TRON: Ares Popcorn Bucket. D23, The Official Disney Fan Club, is inviting fans to a special TRON Triple Feature event at AMC Disney Springs, featuring an early screening of the highly anticipated new film, TRON: Ares. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

The cinematic journey will span over 45 years of the TRON franchise, beginning with the original 1982 film, followed by its 2010 sequel, TRON: Legacy, and culminating in an exclusive early screening of TRON: Ares. With a total runtime of approximately 6 hours and 45 minutes, including a five-minute intermission, attendees are in for an immersive and thrilling experience.
Each ticket to the event, priced at $100 (plus a $3 processing fee), includes a variety of exclusive collectibles and amenities. Fans will receive a TRON: Ares-themed light-up wristband, an event credential, and a TRON: Ares popcorn bucket. Additionally, complimentary popcorn and fountain drink vouchers are included with the ticket price.
While the event promises a collectible TRON: Ares popcorn bucket, the specific design has not been revealed by D23. AMC Theatres has announced two designs for their general release: a “The Grid” gripper bucket featuring lightcycles on the Grid and a Tron Light-Up Lightcycle Popcorn Bucket. It is unknown if the D23 event bucket will be one of these designs or a unique one created specifically for the event.
The event will give fans an early look at TRON: Ares, which follows a highly sophisticated program named Ares, played by Jared Leto, as he is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission.
