First Look at Tron: Ares Popcorn Bucket & Novelties Coming to Theaters, Tickets Now On Sale. “TRON: Ares” follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings. The theatrical release date is October 10th, 2025, with early access screenings in 3D and premium formats beginning on October 8. As fans gear up for the next chapter of Disney’s groundbreaking saga, the first wave of movie tie-ins, including popcorn buckets, pins, and keychains, has been released.
Since our initial post, major theater chains like Cinemark, Regal, and Marcus have all updated their offerings. We are continuously updating this article as we get new information, especially pricing. The Tron Popcorn Buckets have been announced “Coming to Theaters,” but our experience tells us that some of them should be available online at the individual theater shops.
Tron: Ares Lightcycle Popcorn Bucket:
This intricate bucket features light-up wheels, with both the front and back wheel wells designed to be filled with popcorn. The bucket depicts Ares, played by Jared Leto, riding the Lightcycle. It is estimated to hold around 100oz of popcorn. Based on past releases of similar vehicle-themed buckets, this one is priced at an estimated $55.00, with the price reflecting its light-up functionality.
Tron: Ares Arcade Cabinet Popcorn Bucket:
This bucket is an updated version of the original Tron arcade cabinet that was prevalent in the 80s. The popcorn is held inside the cabinet with a top lid. The bucket features the Tron: Ares logo, a screen with Ares on a Lightcycle, and classic details like a blue joystick and coin slots. This collectible is expected to be priced between $49.99 – $59.00, depending on whether it’s sold as a standalone item or part of a combo.
We are basing these prices on the most recent Disney Studios movies, Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Lilo & Stitch Live Action. Furthermore, the company behind the Guinesse Book of World Records Galactus popcorn bucket, Golden Link, is the one who made the Tron Lightcycle Popcorn Bucket, and Tron Arcade Cabinet popcorn bucket.
Cinemark – Tron: Ares Popcorn Buckets and Novelties
Cinemark has released images of the new “Tron: Ares” popcorn buckets and cups. They’ve posted on social media to turn on notifications to be the first to know when the collectibles “hit the grid in theatres.”

AMC Theaters – Tron: Ares
AMC is offering a “Worlds Will Collide Combo,” which is a shareable snack pack portal to a large popcorn, two candies, and two large drinks or ICEEs®. No price is available, but based on past deals, it is expected to be around $43.35. The popcorn bucket included holds 85oz and features the movie poster.

Beyond the Theaters: Disney Parks Tie-In
In a special tie-in with the film’s release, the TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction at Walt Disney World and Shanghai Disneyland will be getting a limited-time “TRON: Ares” overlay. Starting September 15th at Walt Disney World and September 16th in Shanghai Disneyland, the ride’s iconic blue trails will be replaced with the film’s dazzling red-and-orange hues and a new soundtrack from Nine Inch Nails. This offers fans another way to immerse themselves in the world of “Tron: Ares.”
