While initially announced as a Regal Cinemas exclusive, it has now been confirmed that the merchandise will also be available at other theater chains, including Harkins Theatres.
Harkins Theatres recently announced on social media that the new collectibles would be available starting on September 11, coinciding with the limited return of Toy Story to the big screen. The post shared by Harkins Theaters read, “To infinity… and beyond! 🚀🤠 See Toy Story at Harkins and get your collectible cup and popcorn tin starting September 11, while supplies last!”
Regal Cinemas had previously made a similar announcement, stating that the collectibles would be available on September 12.
Toy Story 30th Anniversary Popcorn Tin and Collectable Cup
The new collectible set features a black base with sapphire blue lids and lettering. Both the bucket and cup are adorned with the “Disney Pixar 30 Years and Beyond” logo, which cleverly incorporates the Toy Story logo into the number 30. Silhouettes of the characters from the film are printed along the bottom, and a figure of both Woody and Buzz Lightyear sits on top of each item.
While an official price has not yet been announced, similar collectibles typically range from $14.99 to $19.99 for the cups and $24.99 to $34.99 for the popcorn buckets. These limited-edition items are expected to be in high demand, following the recent trend of highly sought-after movie merchandise like the Fantastic Four popcorn bucket.
