We’re 🍂FALLing🍂 for these New Disney Photopass MagicShots at Walt Disney World! Get ready to capture the magic of the season! Starting tomorrow, August 15, Walt Disney World Resort is rolling out a new collection of themed PhotoPass opportunities to celebrate the start of fall and Halloween. Guests visiting all four theme parks and Disney Springs will be able to pose with a variety of festive props and effects, perfect for sharing on social media.
Stay tuned for more information coming out regarding the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Magic Shots coming to the party, which starts tonight at the Magic Kingdom. Let Disney PhotoPass Service capture your magical moments—and get everyone in the picture! A hidden PhotoPass Magic Shot scavenger hunt that’s perfect for the whole family is still going on.
Here’s a guide to the new photo ops and where you can find them:
Magic Kingdom Park
The park is getting a spooktacular makeover with multiple photo locations, including:
- Pluto Leaves: Find this whimsical prop on the bridges connecting Cinderella Castle to Adventureland, Liberty Square, Tomorrowland, and Fantasyland.
- Autumn Tiny World: This unique, miniature-style photo op is available near the Cinderella Wishing Well.
- Mickey Mouse Jack-o’-lantern: Look for this classic Halloween prop near the flagpole in Town Square Theater, in the Cinderella Castle Hub, inside Sir Mickey’s Royal Portrait Studio, and on the lawns near The Plaza Restaurant and Casey’s Corner.
- Halloween Super Zoom: Get an epic, wide-angle shot with this special photo op near the East Lawn and Plaza Restaurant within the Cinderella Castle Hub.
- Spooky Vintage: Transport yourself to a bygone era with this vintage-style effect along Main Street, U.S.A.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Animal Kingdom is embracing the fall spirit with two new photo ops:
- Pluto Leaves: Snap a photo with this fun prop at multiple locations: near the Tree of Life in Discovery Island, between Pizzafari and Creature Comforts, across from Feathered Friends in Flight!, and next to the Discovery River Lagoon with Expedition Everest in the background.
- Scar: For fans of “The Lion King,” a photo op featuring the infamous villain, Scar, is available at the park’s entrance near the ticket windows and with most photographers in Africa.
EPCOT
Discover a touch of autumn at EPCOT with the:
- Pluto Leaves: This prop can be found as you walk from World Celebration into World Showcase, near the Disney Vacation Club Discovery Desk.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Capture some fall magic along Hollywood Boulevard with the:
- Pluto Leaves: Look for this photo prop along the iconic Hollywood Boulevard, perfect for adding a touch of fall to your pictures.
Resort-Wide Photo Fun
No matter where you are, you can add a festive flair to your photos with the Halloween Confetti effect. This effect is available from most Disney PhotoPass photographers at all four Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney Springs.
