We also got our own Disney Starlight Interactive Bubble Wand last night during the premiere of the new Nighttime Parade here at Magic Kingdom.
The wand’s handle is a deep blue, featuring the official Disney Starlight logo, with a swirling stardust design. The clear orb at the bottom of the handle holds the bubble liquid. A switch on the handle controls the wand’s functions:
- Up position: Activates both bubbles and lights.
- Middle position: Turns the wand off.
- Bottom position: Activates lights only.
Mickey’s glove has the classic white and black colors. The light-up tube, mostly translucent to allow the colored lights to shine through, also features a subtle silver star pattern that matches the stardust on the handle.
Dazzling Lights and Interactive Play: A button on the handle allows you to cycle through a vibrant spectrum of colors, including red, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, violet, and white.
What truly sets this wand apart is its interactive feature: point your wand at another guest’s wand while holding down the light button, and watch as their wand magically changes color! The wand not only interacts with Disney Starlight, but we have heard reports that it also works during Happily Ever After Fireworks.
