Test Track Annual Passholder Preview Virtual Queue Opens at 7:00 AM. Walt Disney World Annual Passholders are getting a chance to preview the rethemed and refurbished Test Track attraction at Epcot starting tomorrow, 7/13/2025. The ride will be on the Disney Virtual Queue system, which means those who have a valid Disney Annual Pass can try to get a return time for the previews. The Test Track Virtual Queue will be in place from July 13th until July 19th. There will be no virtual queue when Test Track version 3.0 opens to regular guests on July 22nd, 2025.
For those Disney World Annual Passholder Test Track previews, we have a short guide to help get a Virtual Queue for the day. This system has worked for us for many years.
Discover the future of transportation on the thrilling road to tomorrow when Test Track presented by General Motors® reopens. Passholders will have an opportunity to be among the first to experience it, before it officially opens on July 22. Just a little thank you as part of V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days!
Passholder previews will take place July 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, and 19 and will use a virtual queue. Here’s how it works!
Annual Passholder Previews for Test Track
How to Experience: On July 13, 14, 15, 16, 18 and 19, Annual Passholders can request to join the virtual queue for Annual Passholder previews of Test Track presented by General Motors® at 7:00 AM (a valid Annual Pass and a theme park reservation to EPCOT is required); or at 1:00 PM (a valid Annual Pass is required). Passholders do not need to be in a theme park when they request to join the virtual queue.

- Open the Disney World App and scroll down to the Request Access with Virtual Queue. This is located at the bottom of the main MDE screen.
- Sometime before 7:00 AM EST, click the Join Virtual Queue. Epcot is the only one that will already be loaded. Click Confirm Party and make sure your exact party is listed. If you are missing party members or are not listed, stop. Figure out why (This is why we check the night before or at the very latest 6:45 AM.) Everything and Everyone listed? Close the App and move on to step 3.
- Do you have help? Do you have a computer, a second phone, or a clock with a second hand? Hopefully, you have a second screen; this is our biggest tip. This is how we have succeeded every time we have wanted a VQ. This is the Link you want to bring up on the second screen. It is a World Clock, which has a seconds counter. You want this open and running at 6:55 AM.
- 6:58, if your heart isn’t racing, you are not doing this right! It doesn’t matter how many times we do this; our pulse races. Open the Disney World App to the Home Screen and scroll down to the Virtual Queue. Do not click anything! Leave it there. (This is where we succeed, and others sometimes do not. *Some people play the refresh game, we do NOT!) The Refresh game is to have already clicked join and confirmed the party. You are then just clicking the refresh button or pulling the screen down from the top until 7:00 AM EST. We have lost out once or twice because it took an extra second to load. Remember, every millisecond counts. The VQ will be gone by 7:00:01.
- 6:59:57 Click Join Virtual Queue for Test Track Annual Passholder Preview and immediately click Join Virtual Queue. (It takes a second to load.) By the time you click Join Test Track VQ, then Confirm Party, it should be 6:59:59.
- Click as fast as you can. Do not read the screen or hesitate in any way! It is Three Clicks. Join VQ, Test Track, Confirm Party.
- If done right, a boarding group should be displayed. If it takes a moment to display, do not fret; thousands are all trying to do the same thing. But if you have followed this, you should be one of the lucky ones. It is all about speed.
For the 1:00 PM Virtual Queue, we recommend the same strategy; The 1 p.m. virtual queue will be available to any Passholder with a valid admission. A park reservation to a theme park is not required.
Passholders must have a Walt Disney World Annual Pass with valid admission on the preview date and may need a theme park reservation depending on the time of visit. Applicable pass block-out dates apply. Theme park reservations are limited and subject to availability, and reservation requirements are subject to change.
- As a reminder, if a Passholder has a reservation to another theme park, they must enter the theme park where they have a reservation before visiting EPCOT. Or, Passholders may visit EPCOT without a park reservation after 2:00 PM.
- Each Passholder can request to join a virtual queue no more than once per day.
- Joining the virtual queue does not guarantee the ability to participate in the preview. Boarding groups for a virtual queue are limited, subject to availability, and are not guaranteed. Not all boarding groups may be called to return, based on the availability of the attraction. Learn more about virtual queues.
- Offering dates, hours ,and virtual queue distribution times are subject to change or cancellation without notice or liability.
