Epcot Flower & Garden 2025: Mickey & Pals Topiaries Return! Starring on the World Showcase bridge are Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Chip & Dale, and Pluto during Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival 2025. Discover dazzling topiaries and gardens that celebrate Disney stories, natural wonders, and cultures around the world from March 5 to June 2, 2025. Every year, Mickey & Pals are showcased on the bridge leading to World Showcase from World Celebration. Every year, they have a different theme, and now we know this year’s theme is an outdoor picnic. Minnie Mouse is opening a picnic basket that has Pluto’s bone sitting next to it on the left side, and a discarded shuttlecock is to the basket’s right. Chip is on the right of Minnie, and Dale (with his bright red nose) is to her left.
Behind Minnie Mouse is Mickey & Pluto trying to fly a kite. Pluto looks to be holding the kite string, while Mickey Mouse is holding the kite end, almost ready to let it go and take off! Talk about a “Let’s Go Fly A Kite” moment!

Walt Disney originally considered creating “living” topiaries when seeing traditional topiary gardening in Europe. Walt eventually then asked animators and Disneyland landscape teams to do their magic – as seen in a rare Disneyland Resort photo from our archives.
In 1963, there were 24 original Disneyland park topiaries, including a waltzing hippo, a poodle, a pig, bears, elephants, seals, and giraffes. In 1966, they were permanently planted at “it’s a small world.”
