Disney released the official trailer for Mickey’s Home Alone, the new Mickey Mouse holiday special premiering Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, at 6 p.m. ET/PT on Disney Jr. The special streams the next day, November 27, on Disney+.
Inspired by the 1990 holiday classic, Mickey’s Home Alone finds Mickey ready for a quiet Christmas at home until Minnie surprises him and the gang with tickets to a world-famous Ice Palace. In the morning rush out the door, Mickey and Pluto get left behind, and they have to protect their Christmas dinner from two feisty villains, a raccoon and a weasel.

It makes for a big week for Mickey on TV. The night before the premiere, Mickey’s Christmas Carol returns to ABC on Wednesday, November 25, as part of ABC’s 2026 holiday schedule.
The music arrives first. A digital EP from the special drops this Friday, November 6, with two original songs by Keith Harrison Dworkin, “Ho-Ho-Home for Christmas” and “Favorite Christmas Feeling,” plus a new arrangement of “Jingle Bells.” Wild Canary produced the special with Disney Jr., with Shane Prigmore directing and a score by Tony Morales.
Fans in New York can catch an early look at Paleyland, The Paley Center for Media’s annual family event, on Saturday, December 5. It will screen Mickey’s Home Alone along with other holiday favorites, including the Bluey Christmas episodes “Veranda Santa” and “Christmas Swim.” Find more in our Bluey guide.
