Shutterfly is now the official photo gift partner of Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line and Aulani. Disney and Shutterfly announced the deal on October 20. Starting today, your Disney PhotoPass photos from Disney World and Disneyland can show up in your Shutterfly account on their own. That makes it easy to turn trip photos into photo books, cards and gifts.
How it works: You opt in, and your Disney PhotoPass photos go straight to Shutterfly. No more downloading them and uploading them again. Disney Cruise Line and Aulani guests get the same thing in early 2027.
“We’re honored to be part of the Disney experience, helping guests and fans hold onto the magic long after they return home,” said Emily Whittaker, CEO of Shutterfly. “This alliance creates a seamless connection between the moment and the memory, offering new ways for guests and fans to revisit, share, and celebrate their favorite Disney experiences.”
“Disney PhotoPass and Disney Cruise Line Photo help guests preserve the moments that make Disney Experiences unforgettable, with unique capture experiences and giving everyone the opportunity to be part of the picture,” said Gary Daniels, Senior Vice President, Disney Products & Experiences. “Together with Shutterfly, we’re making it easier for guests to bring those memories into their everyday lives through personalized keepsakes they can revisit and share for years to come.”
Shutterfly is opening a new Disney shop on Shutterfly.com with photo books, cards, home decor, games, ornaments and more. There are exclusive designs for Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Character designs include Toy Story, Winnie the Pooh, Cars and Mickey and Friends.
What we do not know yet: Disney and Shutterfly did not share prices or discounts. They also did not say whether you need Memory Maker to send your photos over.
Our take: If your PhotoPass pictures usually sit in the app and never get printed, this helps. Shutterfly runs sales often, so wait for one before you order that photo book. Read the full announcement and find more Walt Disney World news.
