Disney+ will livestream Super Bowl LXI on Sunday, February 14, 2027, giving every Disney+ subscriber in the United States a way to watch ESPN’s first Super Bowl. Disney+ will also carry two Monday Night Football games this fall, starting with the Dallas Cowboys at the Philadelphia Eagles on October 26.
Subscribers will get the same game airing on ESPN and ABC, with Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge on the call. The Spanish-language broadcast from ESPN Deportes will be on Disney+ too. The game will be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, and it lands on Valentine’s Day.
This is the latest step in a yearlong push that started when Disney and ESPN kicked off the “We’re Going” campaign in February. The campaign puts a new spin on “I’m going to Disney World,” and its first spot features more than 60 characters from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar. Toy Story joined in June with an animated Toy Story 5 crossover spot.
Both Monday Night Football games will still air on ESPN, ABC and ESPN Deportes as scheduled. Disney+ subscribers get the option to stream either the English or Spanish broadcast. The second game has not been announced. Disney+ has carried football before, including an animated Monsters, Inc. Monday Night Football game last December.
Outside the U.S., Disney+ will stream ESPN’s Super Bowl in more than 55 markets, including Spanish-speaking Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. ESPN’s TV channels will carry the game in more than 130 countries and territories.
The ESPN App still has every Monday Night Football game and all of ESPN’s Super Bowl programming. That includes the ManningCast with Peyton and Eli Manning on ESPN2, the Super Bowl Sunday studio shows, and coverage all week leading up to the game.
ESPN will also turn Santa Monica Beach into ESPN Beach, a week-long broadcast home for ESPN and ABC starting February 8. A free fan experience on the Santa Monica Pier will have games, family entertainment, and food and merchandise tied to ESPN, ABC and Disney.
Disney has also launched the Disney | Champion NFL collection, which debuted at Fanatics Fest NYC. Advertisers are already locked in. ABC and ESPN had sold every commercial in the game by August, the earliest sellout by a network in Super Bowl history. Fifty-eight brands bought time, including nine that have never advertised in a Super Bowl.
