The Disney Believe will sail its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027 from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Tracy Wilson, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line, announced the date and the port during today’s Disney Believe reveal livestream. Bookings open October 19th, 2026.
That turns “late 2027” into a real date. December 18, 2027 is a Saturday, one week before Christmas.
Port Everglades is Disney Cruise Line’s second Florida port, where Disney opened its own terminal in 2023. For Central Florida families, it is about a three-hour drive south from Walt Disney World. Port Canaveral is about an hour away.
The Disney Believe is the fourth Wish-class ship. Disney introduced it in March with a theme of promise and possibilities. It is being built at Meyer Werft in Germany, where the first section of the ship floated out last month.
We are covering the livestream as it happens and will add itineraries, venues and booking dates as Disney announces them.
