AMC, Regal, and Cinemark have each revealed their exclusive Street Fighter popcorn buckets and cups ahead of the movie’s October 16 release. That started with AMC’s wearable Guile bucket, revealed by WWE star Cody Rhodes himself, and Regal and Cinemark have since confirmed their own lineups too. Rhodes plays Guile in the film, and fellow WWE star Roman Reigns plays Akuma, giving the movie a built-in crossover with the wrestling audience on top of the gaming one. Advance tickets go on sale Monday, September 21, and a nationwide fan event is already locked in for the night before the movie opens.
Every Street Fighter Collectible Announced So Far
- Guile Wig Bucket (AMC exclusive): A wearable bust shaped like Guile’s towering flat-top, with popcorn filling the space where his hair would be. Comes with a Street Fighter dog tag necklace. Revealed by Cody Rhodes, who plays Guile.
- Guile Bust (Regal, Marcus Theatres): A non-wearable shelf version of the same Guile design.
- Arcade Cabinet Bucket (Cinemark): Styled after the classic Street Fighter arcade machine.
- Chun-Li Cup (Regal, Marcus Theatres): A character cup styled after Chun-Li.
- Ryu Cup (Cinemark): A character cup styled after Ryu, with a built-in straw.
None of the three chains have announced pricing yet. For comparison, our Mortal Kombat II collectible guide shows the wearable Shao Kahn helmet bucket sold for $42.95 at 85 ounces this spring, so expect Street Fighter’s wearable piece to land in that range as an estimate.
Tickets and the Fan Event
Advance tickets go on sale Monday, September 21, which is typically when chains open ordering for their collectibles too. Street Fighter also has its own preview night, the Bonus Round Fan Event, running Thursday, October 15 at 7 PM local time in participating IMAX, Dolby Cinema, SCREENX, 4DX, and select Premium Large Format theaters nationwide, with exclusive gifts for ticketholders while supplies last.
