Hollywood Studios Adds New Accessible Parking Section to Minnie Lot

Hollywood Studios Adds New Accessible Parking Section to Minnie Lot

Walt Disney World has added a large section of new accessible parking to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and it’s located in the Minnie section of the parking lot near the park entrance. The new spaces are freshly striped with blue-marked stalls, van-accessible access aisles, and white delineator posts separating each row, the same treatment Disney has now rolled out at three parks over the past two years.

Magic Kingdom was first, when Disney repaved and expanded the accessible section of the Zurg lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center back in 2024, adding nearly a hundred new ADA compliant spaces with straight pull-in and pull-out parking instead of the old angled layout. Epcot followed last year, when Disney repaved the Moana lot and added a few more rows of accessible parking, though the exact number of new spaces there was never confirmed.

Now it’s Hollywood Studios’ turn. Based on the marked stalls and access aisles visible in these photos, the new section looks to add somewhere in the range of 60 to 80 accessible and companion parking spaces, spread across several rows near the front of the Minnie lot. Disney has not published an official number, so treat that as our best estimate from what’s on the ground rather than a confirmed figure. I am sure there is a reason for angled versus straight.

Unlike the new layout that Disney built at Magic Kingdom and Epcot, with straight in-and-out stalls, Disney is sticking with the angled parking. Guests with a valid disability parking permit will be able to use the new section on a first-come, first-served basis, right at the front of the lot closest to the park entrance. We’ll keep an eye on this section as it gets closer to opening and update with an official count if Disney or a parking Cast Member confirms one.
