The 2027 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is officially presented by Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game, Disney’s first time attaching a full presenting sponsorship to this festival, and it runs January 15 through March 1, a full week longer than 2026.
We covered last year’s dates announcement when the 2026 festival first brought Lorcana in as a featured activity, and our EPCOT Festivals hub tracks all four festivals throughout the year if you’re planning a trip around any of them.
The presenting sponsorship is the real headline here. Lorcana went from a new attraction inside the 2026 festival to the name actually attached to the event itself, the same kind of branding Disney uses for something like Test Track presented by General Motors. That’s a meaningfully bigger commitment than adding a scavenger hunt or a photo op, and it signals Disney sees Lorcana as a long-term partner for this festival specifically, not a one-year experiment.
The extended run adds up to roughly 45 days, a real shift for a festival that’s historically been the shortest of EPCOT’s four by a wide margin. Disney Lorcana activities are confirmed to return and expand on what was already a popular addition in 2026, including a first-ever Figment card debuting as part of the lineup. Full details on the Collection Quest, Ink & Find scavenger hunt, and how to actually get the Figment card haven’t been released yet.
Between the longer calendar and a presenting sponsor now built into the festival’s own name, Festival of the Arts is getting treated less like EPCOT’s most overlooked event and more like a festival Disney is actively investing in growing.
