Disney Confirms Mickey Train Popcorn Bucket and Holiday Stitch Sipper Coming to Parks This Holiday Season

Disney has confirmed the first two holiday season novelties coming to Disneyland Resort this year: a Mickey Train Light-Up popcorn bucket and a Holiday Stitch Christmas Tree sipper, though no release date has been announced yet and no actual product photos exist. This is just the first announcement of what’s coming this holiday season. These will most likely show up at Walt Disney World during the Holidays.

The reveal came buried inside Disney Parks Blog’s much larger Guide to Holidays at the Disneyland Resort 2026, which confirmed the season runs November 13, 2026, through January 6, 2027. For everything else currently available across Disneyland and Walt Disney World, check our Disney Popcorn Buckets hub, and for our earlier look at this season’s buildup, see our Halfway to the Holidays preview from June.

A quick note on the image below: that is not an official product photo. Disney hasn’t released any actual images of either item yet, so we built a mockup using a Lionel Disney Christmas train set as a stand-in just to give readers a general sense of what a Mickey-themed holiday train bucket could look like. Treat it as a concept illustration only, not a preview of the real design.

Both items lean on ideas Disney has used before. A holiday-themed Christmas tree character sipper isn’t new, Disney has done this exact concept previously with Donald Duck dressed as a Christmas tree. The train bucket has more history behind it too. The last time Disney released a train-shaped popcorn bucket was at Disneyland in July 2023, for the Disney100 anniversary celebration. A holiday-dressed version of that same concept would be a natural way to bring the format back for the season.

What stands out here is how early and how thin this announcement is. Disney typically saves its full merchandise reveal, complete with real photos and pricing, for closer to when items actually go on sale. Getting just two item names with zero imagery this far out suggests there’s a bigger merchandise wave still coming, with this serving as a teaser rather than the full picture.
