Coyote vs. Acme Popcorn Buckets and Cups Revealed Ahead of August 28 Release

Coyote vs. Acme Popcorn Buckets and Cups Revealed Ahead of August 28 Release

August 3, 2026

Written by Greg Gately

The first popcorn buckets and cups for Coyote vs. Acme are here, built around the chained anvil from the film’s poster art, ahead of its August 28 theatrical release. All the buckets officially releasing were seen during CinemaCon 2026, so nothing is a surprise. If any more buckets do get announced, we will update the article, but for now, it doesn’t look like a larger item is coming.

All four pieces share the same design: a black anvil hanging from a chain over the “COYOTE VS ACME” logo, cast names Will Forte, Lana Condor, and John Cena across the top, and “Only in Theatres August 28” along the bottom. The rectangular tub is the only one with a two-tone look, pairing a black side panel with the anvil artwork.

The Full Lineup

  • Large pail bucket: white bucket with a handle, anvil art centered on the front
  • Tall cup: same design, cast names across the top
  • Standard cup: shorter version of the same design
  • Rectangular tub: black side panel with the full logo, anvil art on the front

None of the four have confirmed sizes or prices yet. Comparable 2026 releases have priced buckets and tubs between $25 and $35, with cups running lower. Epic Theatres and B&B Theatres already have ticket pages live for the film, confirming a wide release, and AMC, Regal, and Cinemark are expected to carry their own versions closer to opening day.

Coyote vs. Acme was originally set to open July 21, 2023, before Warner Bros. Discovery shelved the finished film in November 2023 for a tax write-off. Ketchup Entertainment bought the distribution rights in March 2025 and set the film on its path to theaters, landing the August 28, 2026 release date.

Wile E. Coyote sues the ACME Corporation over years of faulty products, hiring a struggling lawyer to take the company to court, with Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes cast along for the ride. Tickets are on sale now through the film’s official site, Fandango, and directly through AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Epic Theatres, and B&B Theatres.

Check the Movie Theater Popcorn Buckets hub for updates as more chains confirm their listings.
